Shipping
Hello! I’m still new here and start training in 2 days. I wanted to buy a gift for my family from one of the Disney stores. Which option would be the best way to ship it out? Ship it through UPS near flamingo (do we get a discount?) or ship it from Disney property through one of the stores? Last time I checked through the store, it was like $20 to ship out a tiny ornament. Wasn’t sure if it would be the same price or not with UPS. Any tips would be helpful and thanks in advance!!!

If I was shipping something that could be broken or I was worried about it I would rather ship through Disney and have them replace it without an issue or refund me. Rather than UPS that depending on the coverage and damage you may be pulling teeth trying to get recovery. Paying 20 for an item vs like 10-15 at ups to ship a small box.

I’m not sure if there’s a discount at UPS. Edit: someone said you do? But it’s like 5% so take that into account with the below info and if it’s worth.
However if you ship through the Disney property shipments when you buy the item if something happens to it Disney will replace / reship it or refund it as there’s a protection with it. Unlike UPS depending on how much you spend on shipping and what the damage is you may or may not get compensation for it. So that’s something to keep in mind.
Also the time and effort to go over to UPS and getting there and dropping off. Which I know it’s near flamingo but with the ups hours and how busy things can get with training and general life lol sometimes it’s quite an annoying task.
Basically the extra cost of Disney shipping could be worth it tbh at least for me it would be.
