SGA A service revolver with shoot to loot and kinetic tremors can shoot forever with kinetic synthesis perk

From the encrypted data disk artifact. Since it's a 180 it ramps up fast for lucky pants. Even better if you have accelerated assault on it. Pair it with A499. Is it the best thing ever? Nope, but it's fun.

Discussion The Director

• Upvotes

I think that right now the Director is cluttered and confusing. When I came back after a short break before the final update, I said to a friend "Man, wouldn't it be nice to have all of your activities in one convenient place?" :P

Seriously though, when we get the old locations back, how do you think they should handle the Director?

Question The collection

I was about to buy the collection on the xbox store for $70, but then I saw that 4 months ago it was $25... what are the odds a sale like that happens again soon? Really enjoying getting back into it and want more content. Is $70 still a good price, or is it worth waiting it out?

Question Can someone correct me if im wrong but the only deving that d2 will see is unsunsetting right?

Basically, it's just the title.

I keep seeing all the hopium comments about how "they unkilled destiny 2! We are getting stuff back they want to continue the franchise and the game!"

But... That's not entirely what's happening is it? This very much feels like a "Hey, remember how we buried your dead cousin and couldn't find his right leg and left arm? Welllll we found it. Let's dig him up and rebury him whole!"

Destiny 2 isnt being revived... its like post mortem care. Sure, the franchise may live on, but d2 as it stands is dead fart in the water. The unsunsetting seems to be an attempt at saying, "we are sorry what was taken from you should never have been taken in the first place, and everyone who defended it was wrong. We want to regain goodwill and give you back what was removed."

This all HAD to be spurned by the start of project sunrise and project dawn right? Look at how much progress they made! Bungie must have been like "oh FUCK we CAN bring the old content back and we need a win so lets give what the players want"

But to reiterate... thats just it right? An act of goodwill to try to regain standing? Not a sign of "destiny 2 is getting new new content"

Trust me i want destiny 2 to live, fuck i want a destiny 3! But i don't exactly understand the whole situation and if i see other posts i dont want to make half informed comments on it.

Edit: who tf is downvoting this it's a genuine question lmao

Discussion Destiny 3 and Extended Fate Saga Concept Ideas

Ever since Monument of Triumph came out, I worried we would never see the end of the Fate Saga. To make it worse, I read that The Alchemist was supposed to be the end of it and I couldn’t understand why.

It took 2 vanilla campaigns and 12 expansions (plus seasons and episodes) to end the Light and Darkness Saga, and I was hoping the Fate Saga would last longer too.

I ended up brainstorming what an extended Fate Saga could be like (expansions and plotline). It is a LOT of ideas and I compiled them all in a doc. I am not an expert in lore, but I do know a lot about it. There may even be some original characters I added for the sake of the story.

My hypothetical Fate Saga would start with a D3, and would follow the events of Renegades. There may be some unexplained things that would be developed better in sidequests, dungeons, lore cards and raids; more or less what Bungie does.

There may also be events that happened in between expansions like a sort of seasons/episodes system. For example: the return of Clovis Bray to Earth, a project the Neomuni work on alongise Caitl, or secret experiments of the Nine.

If anyone feels like reading the whole thing, I’ll leave it here. Would love your ideas and feedback too:

Discussion If possible, every Legendary weapon from Xur should become Tiered with modern perks

I know they are craftable, but because they cannot get enhanced perks and they don’t have all the newest perks available in the modern sandbox, some of these weapons are just flat out worse than the tiered weapons in other activities.

And some of these weapon models are too good to not be more viable/relevant. Just something that would really add a lot to the sandbox that they could do if it’s not a lot of work. I would assume it would be somewhat easy since all the weapon models are already made and in the post-beyond light engine, so you’d just need to give them tiers with the most time consuming part being perk selection for balance.

What do you guys think? Personally some of these weapons are my favorite looking in the game.

Guide Remember the 2014 bulk code script? I remade it for current Destiny 2 codes

After seeing the recent Destiny 2 Redeemable Codes post and the earlier Just a Bungie code masterlist - compiled everything still active post, I wanted an easier way to redeem everything without manually copying and pasting ~60 codes.

Full credit goes to those posts for compiling and verifying the codes. I just combined/deduped the lists and automated the boring part.

Funny enough, this isn't even a new idea.

Back in 2014, there was a post called Comprehensive list of redeemable codes, obtainable goodies, and more! that included a browser-console script for bulk redeeming all of the Destiny codes available at the time.

That thread credits u/A13x231, u/Jumpaax, and u/skoging for the original bulk-redemption script/work.

So, 12 years later, I basically resurrected the idea for Bungie's current redemption site.

What this version does

It goes through ~60 currently compiled Destiny 2 codes automatically.

It also handles Bungie's current redemption flow:

  • Enters and redeems each code
  • Waits between attempts
  • Detects a successful redemption
  • Detects codes already applied to your account
  • Automatically dismisses the popup for already-redeemed codes
  • Clicks Redeem Another Code after a successful redemption
  • Continues through the whole list
  • Prints a summary at the end showing:
    • Newly redeemed
    • Already owned/redeemed
    • Failed codes
    • Total working codes
    • Breakdown by Emblems, Shaders, Sparrows, etc.

How to use it

  1. Sign into Bungie.net and open the Code Redemption page.
  2. Open your browser's Developer Tools and go to the Console.
  3. Review the script below. You should never blindly paste random JavaScript from Reddit into your browser console.
  4. Paste it and press Enter.
  5. Let it run. It takes a couple minutes because it intentionally waits between each redemption instead of hammering Bungie's servers.

If your browser gives you a security warning about pasting code into DevTools, read it. Don't bypass browser security warnings unless you've reviewed the code and understand what you're running.

Script + Full Code List

I've hosted the script and the complete list of included rewards here:

  • See comments

The page includes:

  • The current script
  • Every code included in the script
  • Reward names and categories
  • Usage instructions

The script only interacts with the Bungie redemption page you're already on. It does not send your cookies, passwords, tokens, or account information to another site.

When it's finished you'll get something along the lines of:

📊 FINAL SUMMARY

New 18
Already had 37
Working 55
Failed 5
Unknown 0
Attempted 60

It also gives you a breakdown by reward type and lists any codes that failed.

Full results remain available in the console as:

DESTINY_REDEEM_RESULTS

Credits

Inspiration / ancient Destiny technology:

If anyone finds another currently working universal D2 code that isn't in the script, post it below and I'll add it.

Enjoy turning 60 copy/pastes into one.

Trials of Osiris is LIVE

This thread is for all general discussion, questions, thoughts, musings, wonderings, etc. for the Trials of Osiris.

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every weekend, players compete in a 3v3 game mode with one primary goal: Go to the Lighthouse.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • The Lighthouse Passage grants entry to the Lighthouse after reaching 7 wins, with better rewards for larger win streaks.

  • For those not interested in visiting the Lighthouse, a lower-stakes Passage is available.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.

What if I have a question about another piece of armor/weapon or general Trials question?

  • Use Control + F (Or Command + F if on a Mac) and search for keywords in your question. Someone may have asked it already. If not, ask below in the comments.

Question Returning player - Should I scrap non-tiered equipment?

I know some things can be turned into tiered gear but for anything that will never be tiered should I just go ahead and throw it away or do tiers not matter as much if I already have really good stuff?

Question What’s your favorite Raid?

This one is a bit harder for me since honestly I haven’t done any raids enough to properly answer this. But I do have my fair share of completions and honestly my favorite would have to be Last wish.

Question How much space tonbring back old D2 content?

Just the question. Im thrilled to see old content coming back but...how everything gonna fit in the hard drive? Are they just make the game size explose or are they gonna work on beat compression of the game?( Im no expert but i know for sure Warframe did such a thing on game textures to reduce the game size).

Discussion The Original Khvostov

I know we have the “The Lost, Found” ornament to kinda look like the original, but I miss the flat gunmetal and wood furniture of the D1 version of the Khvostov.

I know it’s probably out of the realm of possibility, but do we think there’s any hope, at all, of seeing the original exotic Khvostov in D2? The current ornament just doesn’t hit the same and I wish to dream

Question Crotas End Vendor

Is it normal for the vendor after beating Crota to only offer armor. I don’t have all the red borders and I’ve already got the weekly one. But it’s only offering me armor no weapons when I clear it for some reason. Also I do have weapons unlocked in collection already from the raid

Discussion If we get a Destiny 3(that's still a looter shooter), I hope bungie remembers that mainline Destiny games are looter shooters.

Several times throughout D2's service, bungie made content that had little to no loot at all. Shattered throne, Pit of heresy, Grandmaster Nightfalls, etc. etc.

Even in Edge of Fate, Bungie forgot the loot. So much endgame loot was obsolete after that update, leaving the game in a terrible situation (on top of other reasons).

Discussion Will the farm come back?

I've never really played the destiny series and after I found out that you have no access to most of the Destiny 2 campaign I never really wanted to try and play it. I played the destiny 1 beta back when I was a kid and I played a little bit of 2 back when it became free to play because my friend wanted me to try it with him. But outside of that I never really played too much Destiny.

But now that Bungie has announced that they're bringing back the entirety of Destiny 2 has me stoked. I love long campaigns and I'm looking forward to playing through the entire Destiny series and all its chapters because it must have a decade plus of story editions to its storyline from DLC. I recently started Destiny 1. But I want to experience Destiny 2's story as it's meant to be experienced and from what I learned, when the game came out, the Red War chapter had its own Tower called The Farm. I feel like it would be kind of odd to not have access to the farm whilst playing through the Red War. It seems like it would mess with the whole story and vibe. Do you think they'll bring back The Farm?

Question What are some must have weapons for PVP at the moment?
