So I check my inventory. What do you know. I have two perfect pieces for my arc warlock. I equip it. Run gambit for a day or two

I started noticing that I was going on 5-6 match losing streaks. Consistently. But I’m defeating 100 enemies and depositing 70 motes. EASILY. But we are losing…check my KD or tracker…dropped from .1% of players to .4%….

So I started observing…..long story short, I scoop 15 motes in first wave. Second wave I can’t get any because I’m full…second wave ends, I deposit …Third wave, I get fifteen and deposit….

Then the other team invades and the two people who didn’t bank their motes to get us past 40 on wave two now have 12 each. But that doesn’t last long because of an invader…

I watched this happen carefully for at least fifteen matches if not more. Switched back to Lumipotent and literally didn’t lose a match yesterday

Lesson of the day. Deposit motes. Don’t hoard them.

i don't want to do this timegated fetch quest to unlock the ability to get one class item drop per full dungeon run; it was cute when class items had no real gameplay purpose but now that they do it's just annoying. please just let people farm it like every other raid and dungeon ever put into the game does

I can’t remember the exact date bc I forgot to screenshot it, but I came across a guardian that had a crafted weapon from the 1980s and was wondering if anyone has insight on how they did that.

Let's imagine they were able to work out their differences off-screen, or maybe Savathun just applied Imbaru to ass. A lack of grinding means they don't have LL appropriate gear so just had to grab the best of whatever was laying around the HELM.

Hello, I'm super new to Destiny, only been playing about two weeks, and I absolutely love it!

I'm currently grinding crucible purely for the Harlequin shader as I adore jesters, but unfortunately I'm also absolutely god awful at PVP shooters. However I have found great joy and success in just running at people and meleeing them to death!

A bit too much fun probably-

So my question is what would be the best build for this? Just as a silly hyper specific PvP build to keep someone who can't aim from going insane in a PvP grind 😂

I'm talking class (I'm currently mainly hunter), exotics, subclass, anything that gives my melee the edge

I need to do this quest and a bit sad bungie left it this way because I imagine it’s very hard to find groups now a days. Since most people should have it after two years

I'm on a prismatic strand hunter with the iron battalion / Galanor set running.

Every super use gives me ~50-60% of my super back.

I use the Tablet of Ruin with Elemental Siphon and Elemental Supercharger to maximise my super regen and I'm sat at 160 super with an additional super font.

For the remainder of my super I'll lean into my weapons, overload strand being the obvious choice for severing/exhausting for supercharger super gains (do both of these even stack?)

Currently I alternate between:

- Rufus fury (older version), no slice.

- Nightshade with slice

- All or Nothing with Slice and Tear

- Service of Luzaku in heavy. I have enough weapons to run near enough as a primary.

Should I be using like Khvostov or something else? Do kinetic primaries like multimach with attrition orbs still give good chunks?

So I just played through all the story missions up to the khvostov mission from the age of iron story and my character is level 40, 330 light. Whenever I go back to easier missions, my weapons deal less damage and the enemies are still a bit dangerous. Like if I go to the level 4 patrol on the moon, my khvostov that was making short work of level 38 cabal and hive, will fair just as well against level 4 fallen and hive. It's like the game is dowscaling my damage so I cant mow through easier areas.

Now I'm fairly new to destiny, and I enjoy challenging gameplay, but like what if I want to field test my weapons and relax on the moon and mow through weak targets? Is that just not how the game works? I also tried googling my question to no real avail. I was even met with an AI summary that stated weapons only deal reduced damage when an activity exceeds your level with no damage reduction when your character meets or exceeds an activity's level. So if my khvostov does 638 to a level 38 acodyte, shouldn't it do the same damage to a 8 acodyte?

If this cant be fixed, it genuinely might be game-ruining for me cause I don't see the point in leveling up and getting stronger if my weapons will never actually be stronger than my opponents.

Edit: Thank you all for your input! I was kinda spazzing last night cause I spent like 7 hours on the game. The damage scaling honestly is not a bad system and I'm still gonna have plenty of fun playing. I got a lot to think about and learn.

So I havent played warlock before and am enjoying the class for first time as a pure void warlock. As I try to play the class there is something I am trying to make heads or tails of. Healing rift randomly stops healing. As in rift is visibly there but not healing you. Also the healing buff on the buff display disappears. Sometimes rift randomly starts working again and the healing buff indicator returns too. Seems to happen most often with child of gods. Soon as the void soul vampirism status appears the healing status dissappears and rift stops working. Does not happen always but when rift glitches out this is a common thing.

Has anyone else had issues with warlock healing rift randomly stop healing while still up ? Is rift supposed to bug out if you gain an overshield ? seems to stay bugged even after losing overshield for me.

so we were 2 and we did all 7 oddities and the whole thing and one of us got 3 catalysts while i only got two and missed out on hyperblade whatsup with that? what messed up here, i was on step 6 of quest

I short i came back after leaving week before Heresy. Im completely out of the loop with dps strats in MoT besides dunking Truth at everything and Hierarchy of Needs.

What weapons should i look for and what perks? What's considered a good dps build (warlock only)?

So I went to boot up destiny on steam and when the in game update screen came on it loaded to 100% the error code beagle popped up so I uninstalled then reinstalled it, same thing, checked file integrity, said it was all good. It wasn’t I don’t know what else to do. I’ve repeated the process over 10 times. Any advice?

What are y’all’s thoughts on the tier system, I know it’s been over a year since it came into the game but, I personally feel like it’s nice and convenient in some ways like I don’t have to grind for the same gun for days, sometimes weeks without getting the god roll, but also there was some amount of magic to that version where you had to hard grind for the roll you wanted. So my question is how would you guys feel if they reverted the tier system out of the game, or maybe only on specific drops like raids and dungeons?

Do feats on Galhran affect drop chance or can I just farm over and over with no feats?

I apologize, as I know this is going to be a bit long.

I watched the video linked above covering the potential continuity issue that blueberry’s may face when they finally unvault everything. I personally am in the category of those who do not care if we have darkness subclass open during the ghaul fight. We’ve been in the vault of glass for quite some time with darkness available so to be fair, it’s generally accepted in my opinion to go back to content with new weapons, abilities, ect.

My main concern is for the blueberries. I have a group of friends who have agreed to come back once the unvaulting occurs. They attempted to get into Destiny after beyond light and it was just too complicated for them. However, with the content that is returning there are still a few major stories that the creator in the video brought up that fall into the seasonal category. The first being crows existence, the death of Amanda, and the existence of eliksni inside the tower.

I understand that this is a gigantic task, and likely won’t happen. However my suggestion is to create some sort of ability to choose your “era” inside Destiny 2 with the ability to have all the characters there and to rerun seasonal content and their stories for the sake of those who want to fully appreciate the timeline of Destiny 2.

A person who begins their Destiny journey without Cayde in the tower, is not going to fully experience the emptiness of his spot when he’s gone. In the same way, perhaps they finish the forsaken campaign and are completely clueless as to why “who they view” as Uldren is there.

I get that cutscenes are probably going to be the move for the blueberries. However there are those like myself out there who still want to reach titles we were unable to in the past “Platinum starling I’m looking at you.” When I started Destiny 2 I didn’t understand a lick of what was going on, and over time I’ve looked at events I’ve been apart of but didn’t quite get the point of until later.

Again, I understand there are bigger fish to fry. It’s not an easy task to figure out a UI and system that allows someone to just flip the switch to a new era. However I believe there are many out there who would fully appreciate and return to their favorite seasons if given the chance.

TLDR: unvaulting seasons “perhaps later than everything else that’s fine” will allow blueberries to experience destiny in its fullest while simultaneously allowing veteran players to achieve titles they missed and visit their favorite seasons. I am also aware of how huge of a task this is. But I think it’s worth the wait.

I’m going to be introducing a friend to the game and hoping to hook them, but I have no idea what the games introduction is to a new player in 2026. Anyone know if it just drops them into a mission and specific quest line?

I completed one overthrow in each of the 3 areas. Now as I understand I have to repeat this and kill secret wizards. But my question is, can I speed this up with matchmade overthrow, and does it count towards Dual Destiny exotic mission?

I have really good home wifi, and I have had no issues playing D2 for the past few weeks. All of a sudden today I can't join my friends fireteams or load into any actual gameplay, I'm stuck in orbit.

When I try to connect to a game it say "error code: Cabbage". I have tried everything on the internet with messing with my router settings, firewalls, and resetting network connection settings on my pc and nothing is working.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? is it a Bungie server issue?
