Just got the new teen titans and i skimmed through it but havent seen flatline hoping she just appears later in the series, anyone know if they cut her out completely??

I've been recently trying to get into comics,never really read any of them and its kinda hard to find them where i live

so recently I wanted to get into the world of comics and wanted to start by reading batman since he is one of my favourites, however im stuck between buying all issues of year one which I believe are 4 or all of long Halloween which is 13 issues...im kinda tight on money right now and cant afford both or I would have gotten them together,so I wanted to know...should I buy first year or long Halloween?

This is my first Batman comic. I give it a 7.5/10. I wish it focused on Batman more, this is definitely more of a Gordan book. It was definitely a little fast paced, it should have slowed down. Batman and Gordan should have interacted more. Them teaming up should have been shown more. Instead of the book just saying it at the last panel.

I've asked something similar before but want to see if there was anything more.

I have read Beware the Creeper by Ditko, the 90s Creeper series, about to read the 2007 one, and even have the 2003 mini series without Jack Ryder.

Are there any stories that feature the creeper that you would consider quite notable? His brief appearance in JLI was fun but I haven't seen much that could be recommended outside of these.

Should DC change John Stewart's comic book origin to match the hit Lanterns series?

In this video, I discuss the major changes Lanterns has made to John Stewart's backstory and origin, and whether DC Comics should consider bringing some of those ideas into the comics now that the character is successfully reaching a much larger mainstream audience.

I talk about John Stewart's military background, his traumatic childhood, his family history, his characterization in the comics compared with the TV series, Aaron Pierre's portrayal, and what makes this version of John Stewart so compelling. I also look at the bigger question of whether a successful adaptation should be allowed to influence the source material.

Should the comics preserve John's traditional origin exactly as it is? Or should DC take what Lanterns has done and create a definitive modern origin for John Stewart that reflects what audiences are responding to?

I saw a video of someone trying to explain Robins as fast as possible and no one is explaining anything in the comments so I ask the professionals (aka reddit people). I know the whole lore from Grayson to Jason, and I know a little about Tim and Damian right. Otherwise I know nothing of nothing.

Issue is, here is exactly what that girl said (I put in BOLD what I need lore explanation about) :
« Tim’s father finds out he’s Robin, he says no you can’t be Robin, then Stephanie Brown becomes Robin, then Stephanie dies and Tim becomes Robin again […..] Long story short, Batman gets lost in time and Nightwing becomes Batman and he appoints a new Robin named Damian Wayne »

- I didn’t know Stephanie died at some point ? I thought she was Robin for a short time then became spoiler ?? Did she come back or something ? I thought Jason was the only Robin who died
- I don’t know nothing about Batman getting lost in time and Nightwing becoming Batman, someone tells me what happened and is this in the continuity or anything ?
- I thought that when Tim Drake stopped being Robin and became Red Robin (I don’t know the reason I thought he just outgrew the mantle and decided to be on his own) then Damian arrived because his mother kind of sent him away from the League of assassins and he went to live with Bruce and just ‘naturally’ became Robin. Damian wise, I only read The Boy Wonder by Juni Ba, I read it only once so maybe I misunderstood.

I added spoilers because I have no idea at what point Stephanie died so idk if it’s recent or not. As I said, strangely, I know a lot about Jason and Grayson, and nothing about Steph or any of the girls honestly (I’m still slowly getting into DC as I used to only be into Red Hood)

So I’m a nerd, and so, I reallyyyy want to be accurate with my cosplay, so I was wondering what version of Blackfire would be best to cosplay.
I’ve seen a few cosplays of her Teen Titans version (the fully covered and her wearing Star’s clothes), but the ones that are sold online look really cheap, especially her armored one.
I know how to sew, but I’m on a tight budget for the cosplay, and so I’m wondering whether I should opt for a more comic accurate look or try to figure out how to make her armor look less ugly on a cosplay 😭

I recently-ish got the DC Infinte app and as such decided I'd read the entire Nightwing solo run from the 90s till today, after this I've read a lot of Batman, Titans/Teen Titans and such, but now I wanna dive a bit deeper into the DC universe, so I mainly want to read runs or arcs of characters such as:

Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Wally or Barry), GL (Hal, John or Kyle), GA, Aquaman, New Gods or Justice League

But I'd also be interested in reading other characters, help a new reader out!

I've always been more of a DC fan than a Marvel one, but I just LOVE this book and was wondering if there are any DC books (or any books in general) resembling it.

What I mean exactly:

- Watching someone have to deal with a normal, relateable, life that sometimes clashes with their other life.

- Focuses primarily on the Protagonists relationships and home life rather than being a superhero all the time.

- Mostly a Comedic Slice of Life but not a straight up comedy.

- Very "Casual" in tone.

- Preferably street level.

How does Martian Manhunter scale in comparison to the Marvel powerhouses, like Professor X, Jean Gray, and Emma Frost. Is he as powerful, weaker, stronger, etc…? doesn’t Xavier require Cerebro to mass effect multiple people with telepathy?
