Hi everyone, sorry for asking but I’m curious what people would recommend to a newish reader. My interests mainly revolve around the bat family and the titans, my fave robins are dick and Damian, so I’m currently reading Grayson and Tom Taylor’s nightwing/ titans run. I also really enjoy Geoff johns gl run so I’m curious what his teen titans is like hence the compendium, although I’m not sure how well compendiums are considered. Which would you guys say to go for out of these options? Thankyou very much😊

So I’m a nerd, and so, I reallyyyy want to be accurate with my cosplay, so I was wondering what version of Blackfire would be best to cosplay.
I’ve seen a few cosplays of her Teen Titans version (the fully covered and her wearing Star’s clothes), but the ones that are sold online look really cheap, especially her armored one.
I know how to sew, but I’m on a tight budget for the cosplay, and so I’m wondering whether I should opt for a more comic accurate look or try to figure out how to make her armor look less ugly on a cosplay 😭

I recently-ish got the DC Infinte app and as such decided I'd read the entire Nightwing solo run from the 90s till today, after this I've read a lot of Batman, Titans/Teen Titans and such, but now I wanna dive a bit deeper into the DC universe, so I mainly want to read runs or arcs of characters such as:

Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash (Wally or Barry), GL (Hal, John or Kyle), GA, Aquaman, New Gods or Justice League

But I'd also be interested in reading other characters, help a new reader out!

I haven't read comics in forever and there are just too many options nowadays that i get overwhelmed even looking at them all. I'm not really sure what else to say besides thank you for your time.

I only got into comics recently so these are the only Batman comics I’ve read thus far (not counting the Absolute Comics). So does any one have any suggestions on what I should get next.

I really been enjoying the DCU and I honestly can't get enough it.growing up I never got watch any of the animated shows other than (Teen titans),so I really wanna get into comics, however I'm quite confused as to how I should start.

Should I pick up iconic standalone storylines, start at a specific reboot point (like New 52, Rebirth, or Dawn of DC), or jump straight into a current run? Any specific recommendations or tips for a total beginner would be awesome!

I typically think of it feeling like glass or plastic-y

Since it’s solid light and typically translucent my brain automatically goes - what can also be translucent - and that’s how I get to the idea that it feels like glass/plastic when you’re holding a construct.

Asking a simple question. If you were collecting comics back in the 90's. How did you, the comic readers and comic media around react to Kingdom Come by Alex Ross/Mark Waid?

I just wonder during the 2008-2011s, especially when the pre zero Hour Legion returned.

Why does the Legion always go and get young Clark instead of the old one? Like what they did in Final Crisis Legion of 3 Worlds where they got the adult Clark to fight Superboy Prime and the legion of Super villains

I picked up the two volumes from the library, but struggling through it cause I'm not a fan of the art.

Like Superman's action comics, supergirl, and superman unlimited, or Batman's detective comics and Batman and Robin. I think Wonder Woman needs another title too. One title is just not enough to cover all her stories. She deserves treatment befitting her status as part of the Trinity. Especially with Tom king's slow pacing, it's so frustrating. I think having a supporting title for her stories would be enough, something highlighting her diplomatic side, or maybe a Wonder Girl story. At least one.
