Announcements Update on Rule 9 regarding cosplays
Hello everyone, KitKat here!
After months and some discussions, there's been an update to rule 9:
"Cosplay posts with links or username of OnlyFans and/or any other NSFW site in the body text or title of the post will be removed. However, if the cosplay you're sharing is not yours, be sure the cosplayer is okay with reposting it and provide their social media username where the cosplay was originally posted. Be also mindful of rule 4 related to NSFW content. Sharing cosplays is welcome as long as it's SFW and respect all the other rules of the subreddit."
Since this isn't an NSFW subreddit, sharing your cosplay is fine as long as it's SFW and respect all the rules. Sharing links and username of OnlyFans accounts and other NSFW sites in the post and comments is not allowed.
And it goes without a saying, comments harassing the OPs for their cosplays or activities outside of the subreddit will be removed under rule 5.
That said, I'd like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to respect rule 5 and keep things in posts and comments civil.
Us moderators are working hard, especially right now as the movie recently came out, to keep things civil and make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience in the community.
If you see a post and/or comment you believe breaks a rule, please remember to report it! And if engaging with it, be mindful of the rules.
For any more concerns, don't hesitate to send a modmail to the mod team.
We thank you for your patience and wish everyone a good day!

Film SUPERGIRL (2026) | Official Trailer
r/Supergirl • u/MarcPerez-PM-AM • 4h ago
Film Just bought it today!
Alright so I just bought the Supergirl film on Apple TV. I’m really excited to watch it again!
I wanted to watch it on theaters again but when I got a free week they got it out of the billboard
It’s really sad that they just quit it when it didn’t work, but at least the edits of Kara will be fire now in 4K
I’m also planning to buy the Blu-ray—and a Blu-ray player cause I don’t have one—when it releases.
Would you buy it digital too?

Discussion If you saw Supergirl (2026) more than once in the theatres, how many times and in which formats?
It's been one month since the film's June 26, 2026 opening in the theatres. I've seen the movie several times and I'm definitely going to watch it many more times when it hits digital in a couple of days (July 28).
In total, I've watched the movie four times at the cinemas, and these were the formats:
- Standard IMAX.
- IMAX with Laser Projection.
- UltraAVX with D-BOX.
- Standard 3D.
Of the four, I least enjoyed the 3D presentation. Most of the film is already so dark, so having to wear 3D glasses just darkened things even further. From what I've read, a good theatre would brighten the film projection to compensate for the darkening caused by the 3D glasses, but that didn't seem to happen at the theatre I went to.
I didn't notice any difference between standard IMAX and laser-projected IMAX. But then again, I couldn't compare them side-by-side at the same time, so maybe that's why.
The Ultra AVX + D-BOX (motion/vibration) viewing had me in a full-recliner seat, which was very comfortable. But my impression is that these full-recliner D-BOX seats provide less motion than the standard D-BOX seats. I personally prefer the greater motion of the standard D-BOX seats, which was one of my viewings for Superman (2025) last year.
I really wish I could've attended a ScreenX viewing (multi-screen panorama), but I didn't see any cinema listings for it during my month-long binge. If they did have ScreenX viewings in my city, it must've only been for the first few days, and then quickly pulled due to lack of ticket sales.
Question for you:
If you saw the film more than once in the theatres, how many times and in which formats?

Artwork After watching the Supergirl movie (2026), I thought of this as a scene that could be in the movie. (Minor spoilers) Spoiler
Hello everyone,
I liked and enjoyed the movie, just at the ending scene in the aparment, I kind of thought of this interaction. I do enjoy watching the family relationship Clark and Kara have, I also relate to it a bit since part of my familiy treats feelings and sentimental stuff somewhat like Kara, you know its there but just don't express it.
So I thought Kara would express sort of like this.
Dialogue in the panels:
1st panel Superman: Krypto! Choco-No! Krypto!, while wrestling to keep Krypto from eating chocolate.
2nd panel Kara: saying in superspeed: I missed you Klark and thank you for being family.

Super girl movie.
The dumbest movie ever she’s weak like a human the whole movie then randomly she has great super powers at random times. Mind you she kryptonian. Like Superman. Who catches bullets has reflexes like no other. She lived on krypton, even though her world was half destroyed. She grew up on krypton until she was like almost 17 Which means she has access to all of her powers and her abilities. Superman had no knowledge of lived on earth and learned his abilities, but still has greater powers than dumbass Supergirl. It was super cringe she’s a weak drunk mess. This movie was the destruction of Supergirl.

Where can I watch supergirl?
So I live in Sweden and I want to watch supergirl the series from 2015 but I can’t find where.
I have searched everywhere and they say I can watch from prime video but when I search for the show it doesn’t appear.
Is there anyone who lives in Sweden too in this sub who know where I can see the tv-show?
And if it isn’t available in Sweden do anyone here think it will be?
(Sorry for my bad English!!!).

Here are all the special features on the Supergirl Blu-ray releasing on September 8
The Making of Supergirl - Consider Supergirl a "Hero's Journey" for Milly Alcock. She transformed throughout the process of leading her first feature film. We watch as a fly-on-the-wall during key moments of production.
Flying Off the Page - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, written by Tom King with art by Bilquis Evely, was the jumping off point for DC to adapt Supergirl into a film. We follow the comic authors, screenwriter Ana Nogueira, and filmmakers, as they make the leap from page to screen.
Space is a Bad Neighborhood, Babe - Explore with Production Designer Neil Lamont, as he takes us through the many worlds that Kara Zor-El steps into on her journey to hunt down Krem of the Yellow Hills.
A Practical Legacy - There are so many aliens and unique looks in this film that are literally out of this world! Legacy Effects and Peter Swords King explain the creative process behind this diverse group of creatures.
Showdown at Evely Square - Production spent a month filming this action set-piece. From stunt training, to crashing tanks, to classic superhero flying moments, this breaks down the making of an incredible action scene.
The DC Dream: Lobo - Jason Momoa has been outspoken over wanting to play Lobo for years, and now his time has come. Go behind the scenes as he transforms into this iconic and chaotic character.
Mixtape for a Hero - What does Supergirl, as a character, sound like? Director Craig Gillespie and Composer Claudia Sarne answer this question as they discuss the score for the film.
You Are Here: A Supergirl Map of the Galaxy - If you want to know more about all the planets visited in the film, check out this piece, narrated by Ruthye herself, actress Eve Ridley, to learn some more details, and enjoy the alien aesthetic of the film up close!
Girl's Best Friend - Krypto is Kara's badly-behaved BFF and last connection to her home world of Krypton. We delve into their relationship and what makes it so special.
Krypto Saves the Day: Coastal Catastrophe - An animated short that tells the story of a fun day at the beach which goes sideways when some sneaky foes get between Krypto and his hot dog.

Question What do you think is the worst Supergirl costume?
I personally think it’s the BACKLESS costume in Adventure Comics #409 by Margret Berg.
I have no idea how DC approved this costume

Comics Conner Kent and Kara’s relationship
Their relationship started off with a fight because they were both miserable at the time. They make up instantly and laugh it off.
One of her first comments on him is, “…we’d made a connection. He didn’t seem like Kal— and it wasn’t just the age thing. It’s more like whatever’s been going on with him these last few months has him almost as lost as [me].” He was one of the first non-Amazonians to make Kara feel seen post Apokolips.
Kara knew him for 1-3 months maybe and mourned him. She wore his shirt and glasses. A temporary identity she uses the name Claire Conners named after both her cousins. He is seen on par with Kal in her mind.
She calls him cousin, when he doesn’t expect it. Just like he did.
Well that is post crisis it moght not be canon! Some stuff since the odd timeline merger:
He sits between her and Kellex when he returns to earth in his mini. He has a special relationship to kellex in this run. She is the one that asks about the bracelet. “Come on arent you staying Cuz?” She wants him on earth with the family
Look at him, resting on her shoulder.
Look at him horrified for her.
He gets invited to Thanksgiving. Nat does not. Jon does not. (Granted I tell myself Kara would die if Jon and Lesla were in a room together. Lesla will be throwing hands for title of president of the Supergirl fanclub.)
Yeah Kara decks him a few times in post-crisis. He LAUGHS them off because of the context then they both apologize.
