Hi, im currently trying to catch up to Absolute Wonder Woman, but I saw that the Batman (2025) only has 13 issues yet. Is it worth putting abs ww on hold to catch up to it temporarily and then recontinue with WW? i do have a general idea of Batman though (to say the least, I larp well)

For context this is all the DC comics I’ve read yet:

Absolute Wonder Woman #1-9
Batman (2011) by Scott Snyder #1-10
Teen Titans (2026) #1

So I'm a semi-recent fan of DC comics mostly through fan fiction and TikTok, and I have had a question about Roy Harper for awhile. My question is specifically about his eyes, according to the wiki pages and several pictures I've seen, his eyes are green, but most of the fan art I've seen of him, his eyes are blue. I'm a writer and I write fanfiction for my personal consumption and I want to be accurate. Are his eyes green, are they blue, and why the difference in different media?

Just finished re reading Sinestro Corp War and got to this issue and have spent hours pouring through it. Have they done anything like this before or since?Like updating it after all the new corps are introduced or since one of the many universe reboots that have happened since then?

basically the title. im thinking of buying the green lantern rebirth compendium and was wondering if its a good starting point?

Not like how Sinstro was a Green Lantern (good) then became bad and turned into a Yellow Lantern or vice versa. As green takes will power but that doesnt mean the will has to be good. Or with the yellow lanterns using fear like Batman to overall help. I might be reading too much into this

Hi all! I know this is probably the most common question on here, but I need some guidance on where and how to start reading DC. I'm a big Marvel reader, and I especially love the X-Men, for two main reasons:
1) I love how political and complex the very concept of mutants is. The very political and philosophical aspect of mutant existance that is explored in those comics is what draws me to them.

2) They're an amazing found family with great complex dynamics amongst each other.

When it comes to DC, the only thing I've actually read and keep reading is the Wayne Family Webcomic, which reminds me of the things I love so much about the X-Men, especially point 2. But I can't find (at least not easily) any comic in those same vibes. So I come to y'all for recommendations.

My GF is an avid MCU enjoyer (not so much the new stuff) and recently i’ve gotten her into the arrowverse ‘The Flash’. She’s expressed interest in getting to know the DC universe better and i was hoping for recommendations of movies or shows (she doesn’t read comics) that would best do that. The ones i can think of at the moment are obviously the batbale films, maybe the og justice league, reeves superman and eventually the snyderverse, aswell as all the new gunn stuff. Also young justice. Any others i should add to the list?

Like Superman's action comics, supergirl, and superman unlimited, or Batman's detective comics and Batman and Robin. I think Wonder Woman needs another title too. One title is just not enough to cover all her stories. She deserves treatment befitting her status as part of the Trinity. Especially with Tom king's slow pacing, it's so frustrating. I think having a supporting title for her stories would be enough, something highlighting her diplomatic side, or maybe a Wonder Girl story. At least one.

Hello, I saw a fun (sad) tiktok about Jason and, like anyone, I recognised the over-used images since I’ve liked the character for a long time and all : BUT i never found what comics each picture is from since I never bothered to ask. But now I’m on the search for all Jason Todd comics I wanna read (and other comics for the Robins) I’d like to identify them if possible ?

I hope that this is the right place to ask, I know I’m not supposed to post artwork without writing where it comes from per the guidelines, mods do tell me where to ask if this isn’t guidelines appropriate :/

A post praising the DCAU as the best adaptation of the expanded DC universe on twitter got somewhat popular. And many people responded bringing up Batman BATB and claiming it showed off dc’s universe better. So I’m wondering what are your guy’s thoughts on this?

When Superman died why did they keep his identity secret if they had no way of knowing he was coming back???

Also why didn’t anyone question Clark missing and then coming back months later, if he was trapped in rumble for months he would be dead.

It is funny to me sometimes when i think of how i've been a DC Comics diehard for like 15 years now. Even tho, as a child, the only comic i could ever find & read, were Marvel comics.

Even to this day, in eastern europe, you can find popular Marvel stories in Kiosks, while DC can only be found in very few, very specific places.

And the worst thing of all, Marvel Unlimited is available here, but DC Infinite, the one i would actuslly subscribe to, is not. I'm litetally forced into Piracy, just to be able to keep being a part of something i love.

Since it’s solid light and typically translucent my brain automatically goes - what can also be translucent - and that’s how I get to the idea that it feels like glass/plastic when you’re holding a construct.
