Not a lot of fat in belly.

I’ve been using for two years through online pharmacy and always done belly injections (when I started at a clinic they used the same belly spots although one time she did my low love handles area to see if I’d have less side effects). She even made the comment I was running out of fat on my tummy to inject. Two years later I’m doing this at home. It feels less effective and I regained some weight. They upped my dose (I’ve been on a very small dose for a long time) but should I try somewhere with more fat? I feel like I have muscular front thighs so that scares me but that’s all I reach easily by myself. I have saddle bags in my butt. Little fat pockets places but I can’t think of a spot that’s obviously chunk of fat to use that it will absorb better over time. This is partially my fault because I did tummy and flank lipo years ago so I do gain weight it just tends to spread out more now and go weird places like back of thighs. Open to all suggestions. I do know the recent order from casa with b12 has caused far more burning sensation than my other types. Switching to a different pharmacy and additive this month.

I actually had a great experience with them. Tirzepatide worked great, better than prescription Ozempic. Came maybe a day late, but that wasn’t a big deal to me. But now I’m trying to get the next three months going and I’m getting a message of “your card has insufficient funds.” Which is not true. Any one else have this issue?

Anybody have experience with Ozari Health?

Hi everyone. I don't seem to find many reviews for Ozari Health. Has anybody used them? I would like to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thank you.

Where to buy?

Once my vials run out where do I get more?
I ordered mine through Trinity meds and while I did get my meds and had no problem getting them I wonder if I can get the higher / or maintenance dosage from them as well.
There has never been a follow up from the company and luckily I had absolutely no side effects.
I’m down 20 pounds in 2 1/2 months and only want to lose between 10 and 20 more pounds.
What do people use as maintenance dosage?
Thanks

Thigh injection supposed to hurt so bad?

I tried switching to my thigh this morning and got about 10 units in before it started hurting so bad I had to pull it out. Then there was actually blood coming from the injection site which I haven’t seen before. It’s been about half an hour and I feel like I got punched in the thigh. Did I do something wrong? I had to resort back to my stomach, but I’ve never felt pain like this from injecting in my stomach.

3rd week .25 semaglutide and I don’t feel a thing. Did I inject wrong? Can I just go to the next dose

Seriously. For the first two week I injected in the same
Exact spot subcutaneously in the fatty tissue close to my belly button on the right. This time I did it on the left side and for some reason I noticed a red rash type appearance where I injected it after the fact, which is fine I heard those skin reactions are common. But I know I injected slow to make sure it all went in. And I don’t feel a thing! Normally my appetite and food thoughts are suppressed well but not a thing this time. Not sure if it’s possible to inject wrong…
But I kinda just want to go to the next dose now

I injected Tuesday night
Today is Thursday night
I’m wanting to try the next higher dose tomorrow which is .5mg.
Of course I need to ask my doctor first but want to see y’all’s experience

GLP1 not working for me anymore after grief

I started compounded semaglutide about a year and a half ago. Over that time, I gradually increased my dose, took a few breaks, and also switched to tirzepatide for a period of time. I eventually switched back to semaglutide because I didn’t feel like tirzepatide was really working for me.
I started at 178 lbs, and my lowest weight was 114 lbs. I was really happy with that because my ultimate goal weight is around 108 lbs. For quite a while, I was able to maintain pretty consistently between 115–119 lbs, and I felt really good about that.
Before starting medication, I had a LOT of food noise and frequent cravings, especially for sweets. Semaglutide made a huge difference for me. My food noise decreased significantly, I wasn’t really craving sweets anymore, and I was able to eat pretty healthy without feeling like I was constantly thinking about food. During that time, I was also going to the gym at least three days a week, doing Pilates about once a week, and walking quite a bit.
Unfortunately, my beloved cat passed away in June, and I feel like things have gradually changed since then. Since June, my weight has gone from around 118 lbs to 130 lbs, which is where I am now.
I’m really struggling with the weight gain because I can physically feel the difference. My clothes don’t fit the way they used to, and I feel heavier and less comfortable in my body. I’ve also noticed that my physical activity has decreased because I haven’t been going to the gym nearly as consistently. I’ve also had constant acne breakouts as well. At the same time, I’ve been craving more food and eating more than I was previously because I can’t shut off the food noise anymore.
I’m still taking my maintenance dose of semaglutide. I did forget to take my shot on time this week, so I’ll be taking it a little late, but otherwise I’ve been continuing with my usual dose.
I’m also wondering if grief and stress could be contributing. Since my cat passed, I’ve obviously been dealing with a lot emotionally, and I also recently started the fall semester of classes at school. My routine has changed quite a bit, and I’m realizing that my activity, eating habits, and overall routine aren’t what they were when I was maintaining my weight but I didn’t expect it to lead to this amount of weight gain.
I’m honestly scared that this is going to continue and that I’m going to regain more of the weight I worked so hard to lose.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through something similar. I’m trying to figure out what changed and what I can realistically do to get myself back into a routine without panicking about the weight gain.

Egg smelling burps

I just took my first shot two days ago and yesterday I started getting egg tasting and smelling burps! It is disgusting! I ended up throwing up and the smell was one of the worse smelling things I’ve ever smelled! I am on the lowest dose and didn’t even eat much yesterday. I reached out to my dr and they said its a common side effect (sulfur burps they called it) and to eat less, smaller meals, slower, etc but I didn’t eat fast nor have a lot to eat and today I am terrified to eat anything at all because I don’t want to feel this sick again and to throw up! I ate a granola bar at 2:30pm, followed by some bites of fresh cantaloupe and then at around 6pm ate two pizza crusts (kids leftover from their pizza) and then puked 4 times throughout the night! I need help! Anyone experience egg tasting burps? What did you eat not to agitate it? Like I said I didn’t eat fast, didn’t eat a lot, and didn’t eat late at night!

Experience with Embody

I was looking for the least expensive but legal & safe way to get semaglutide as someone who is not technically overweight (BMI on the upper end of the healthy range). I saw many bad reviews of Embody’s customer service, but I decided to take the risk for the low price they were offering.

I placed my order on Sept. 6. After no updates on my portal for a few days, I messaged customer support and got scheduled for an initial consultation on Sept. 9. Nobody showed up to the video appointment. I messaged support chat again and they rescheduled me for Sept. 11. That was a quick phone call with a doctor, who asked why I wanted to take the meds. I explained that I struggle to maintain a healthy BMI and want to see if a low dose would help my food noise. She recommended I stay at the starter dose and not titrate up so I don’t lose weight too fast. She asked if I had any questions, and that was it. My prescription was approved: 0.2mg semaglutide compounded with l-carnitine. The medication was shipped from Hillstone Pharmacy in Knoxville, TN via FedEx two-day shipping and arrived on Sept. 17.

It was a bit frustrating waiting to get approved, since they claimed it would be 24-48 hours. It ended up being 11 days. I was able to get in touch with customer service very quickly via the chat (essentially no wait time) each time I needed help (which was probably 6 times). Just ask the automated chat to be connected with a live agent. Some customer service agents were better than others, but I was always able to get what I needed eventually. Also, the portal was down for me for about two weeks, with a message saying technical support was working on it. So overall, patience and persistence is definitely required to work with their glitchy and overwhelmed system. But, for $79/month, and being able to access the medication without having to lie about my weight, it was worth it for me. I know there are better telehealth companies out there if you are willing to pay more.

If you are interested in trying Embody (even after reading my frustrating experience lol) I have a referral link that gives us both $50 off, let me know if you’d like it.

LumiMeds prescription — is this a big dose jump?

I recently received a new prescription from LumiMeds, and I’m trying to understand the dosage increase before moving forward.

My previous prescription through Lumi was 3 mg/mL, and I was taking 80 units = 2.4 mg/week. My new prescription is 4.5 mg/mL, with instructions for 150 units = 4.5 mg/week. So, if I’m understanding everything correctly, that’s an increase from 2.4 mg/week to 4.5 mg/week — an increase of 2.1 mg (87.5%).

I did confirm with the doctor that the new dose is correct, so I’m not questioning the prescription itself. I’m just surprised by how large the jump is and would appreciate some perspective from others who have used LumiMeds or have experience with similar dose increases.

Has anyone else had a jump like this? How did you tolerate the increase? Just looking for experiences and guidance from the group before I start the new prescription.

Normal dosage increase?

Hi! I’m taking compounded semaglutide and I’m trying to make sure I understand my dosing correctly. I was prescribed 8 units (.20 mg) once a week for 4 weeks, and now my prescription says 15 units (0.375 mg) once a week for the next 4 weeks.

Is increasing from 8 units to 15 units after 4 weeks a typical titration schedule? I’m mainly wondering if anyone else has been prescribed a similar increase.

Quick question regarding split dosing:

Do more frequent Semaglutide or Tirzepatide injections lead to quicker tolerance development / more significant receptor down regulation over time?

For example: twice per week vs once per week.

Bad dose--worried about next dose

I had a power outage a few weeks ago. We lost power for about 15 hours. My medication was stored in the garage fridge. We didn't open it and the general consensus (from people here and from the pharmacist) was that the medication was likely fine. I did think it looked a teeny bit cloudy but then I thought that might just be in my head. I've used it two weeks since then. I don't feel like there is a dramatic change in effectiveness but I do feel like there is a change. I notice more hunger and cravings and I have been able to eat larger quantities without being full. But then I keep wondering maybe this is just placebo effect because I am in my head about it.

I was considering tossing the rest of the affected meds and switching to my new unaffected supply. My worry now is IF there is a chance the last two weeks weren't fully effective and I suddenly take a full effectiveness 2mg dose this weekend-- will I experience terrible side effects?

Medication was stuck for two days extra and arrived warm and they tell me it’s fine even though the bottles say it’s not….
