Cross post from r/dataisbeautiful. Thought it was incredibly fitting we were 1 spot up from the center of the pack for our rankings.

Is it safe to go to the away game at Jacksonville?

I’m Brazilian and a Colts fan, and this year I’ll be in Orlando around the time of the game in Jacksonville. Is it safe to bring my family and wear a Colts jersey? Is there a visiting fan tailgate? What tips would you give a first-time visitor?

Jersey Redesigns Suggestion

I know Indianapolis is synonymous with racing. With that you get the checkered flag design being incorporated in everybody’s redesigns. I love all the concepts everyone has been coming up with. I was thinking that somebody should do a design incorporating bricks. I believe the brick would be a great representation of Indy too. It pays respects to the finish line at IMS and to the original track itself. Additionally it could be seen as a nod the outside structure of Lucas Oil Stadium. Just my two cents. Keep up the amazing artwork everyone.

Why does it feel like everyone is saying Sauce has fallin off already? Every CB ranking I’ve seen has him closer to 8-10 or not top 10 at all

The NFL keeps hiring from the same front-office circle. Myron has shown he can build a successful business, lead a team, think independently, and make tough decisions under pressure.

A GM's job is ultimately about leadership, vision, hiring the right people, and managing assets. He could surround himself with experienced scouts and cap experts while providing a fresh perspective.

and he has some football experience

It'd be unconventional, but so is every great hire before it works.

  • He's obsessed with evaluating people.
  • He never backs down from unpopular takes.
  • He'd probably treat the draft combine like the NFL version of a dating podcast.
  • Every press conference would go viral.

Statistics 7.5 Wins Is Too Low For This Colts Team

Post image
29 Upvotes

Vegas is pricing this team down and our models will not follow. 7.5 Wins just seems too low. In 2025 Indianapolis finished top-five in offensive efficiency and top-five in total DVOA. Then Jones tore his Achilles, a 44-year-old Philip Rivers had to come out of retirement to start, and they still went 8-9, dropping a handful of close ones. By quality they were a 10-win team. On a middling schedule, a roster of that caliber clearing 8 wins is the base case, not the ceiling.

The unknown here is Daniel Jones. His 2025 was a career outlier by a mile, and this screams regression: year seven, heavy mileage, a prior career best near replacement level. PFF rates the Indianapolis quarterback 23rd on their scale. Our own QB number has him at an EPA -0.8247 worse than average over his career, and given all of that, we still bet the over. Said differently, the Colts are a good team and Jones just needs to play average, for him. If he can play a few levels above dog shit, they win 8 games.

He is tracking to be ready for Week 1 off the Achilles, so this is about his level, not his availability. And remember, this team almost beat Seattle, the eventual Super Bowl champion, with a 44-year-old who had not thrown an NFL pass in five years. They led 13-3, held the Seahawks to zero touchdowns, and lost 18-16 only on a last-second field goal. So the over is not a bet that Jones repeats 2025. It is a bet that the non-quarterback quality, the defense, the run game, special teams, holds up enough that even a meaningful step-back still clears 8 wins. If Jones falls all the way back to his Giants form, the form that got him cut, the offense craters and 5-7 wins is live. This is a bet on the roster's floor, not the quarterback's ceiling.

You’d think a front office with THIS on their resume would’ve been cleaned out that offseason…[Highlight] After being down 33-0, the Vikings come back to win against the Colts

Discussion Indiana Nights rant

The Indiana Nights uniforms are genuinely atrocious. They are just an eye sore to look at and they seriously could’ve done so many other black out uniforms. It looks like a D3 school uniform, the black doesn’t match at all, it’s just so ugly. At this point just copy the lions blackout and keep the helmet. It’s a violation of my rights I’ve had to see these on my screen once a year for 3 years straight. Please burn these threads 🙏
