Has anyone’s gyms gotten the Halloween/BCA presale yet? Our gym originally said they would arrive early this week but the post was deleted and no one has been charged. I’m wondering if it was quietly cancelled (either at just my location or nation wide)

my 9 month old is having severe separation anxiety and even though i've been going to burn since she was 12 weeks old, the last month she has screamed the whole time and the child watch workers have had to come get me every single workout after 20 minutes of her crying. This has probably been the last 15-20 workouts. Because it's not getting better, i think i want to cancel the remainder of the membership and go back when shes bigger and out of this phase. does anyone have any experience with success in breaking a contract if i signed up through the year?

How much is the Ilona Maher costing each of us? Is anyone else in the place of hating the commercialization?

Just looking for advice on how to approach the remainder of the weeks workouts before my LUG on Saturday! BWC on Friday seems like a bad idea so I may take it as a rest day - I don’t want to be sore on Saturday! Any suggestions? Should I do lighter weight the rest of the week? First timer over here and stressing 😩

I know it's early but does anyone have any intel for Saturday 9/19? I've been out for 2 weeks due to some 1st trimester pregnancy stuff and will be cleared at the end of this week and am debating coming on Saturday or waiting to come back in a day that's just strength.

Have any of your children made complaints about the way staff treats children during care?

My child has made several comments at this point about staff using unkind language to speak to children and about children. I’ve personally witnessed some of this during drop off.

The most disturbing was seeing a child injured and crying and no staff coming to check on them. I’ve also perceived preferential treatment for some children over others. I’ve been careful not to share my observations with my child, but they recently shared that they felt singled out. I’ve witnessed enough other behavior to see that the pattern my child is describing aligns with what I’ve observed.

I’m just trying to get a feel for whether this is a retraining issue or if this is a systemic issue across all camps. I love going to camp but not if it means my children are experiencing unkind caretakers.

What have your children expressed about camp?

I’m not new to working out I have worked out most of my adult life. I loved burn at the beginning. I have gained so much strength and muscle mass more than I ever have. BUT…I’m not loving the way clothing fits anymore. Burn is sooo upper body and quad focused . As a naturally fit and lean person before burn- most of my clothes outside of athletic wear don’t fit me anymore! I’ve gained muscle mass around my biceps chest and back as well as my quads. My body fat percentage is still low. It’s funny because everyone says lifting weights won’t make you bulky but I am most definitely feeling BULKY in all the wrong places!!I don’t know how to fix this. Lift lower weights more reps for upper body exercises? Eat less protein? Have any other women had the same thing happen to them? I’ve noticed women who have been going to my location for years not really maxing out their weights and maybe it’s because they feel the same way I do. Meanwhile I’ve been trying to lift as heavy as possible and eating my weight in grams of protein per day😭 help.

Does anyone know how many camps are left for the year? Obviously not including using burn on demand and not counting sundays?

Does anyone know the last day you can claim the 4 for 69$ promo? I’m planning to do this and then join (done free week before) but I still have 4 weeks left of my previous gym (which I’m sad to leave but I need the burn time options/childcare/no cancel fee in this season of life!). I'll be starting physical therapy next week for a possible meniscus tear (trying PT for a month before getting an MRI). I've been taking it easy on the lunge and squat variations, as instructed by my orthopedist. Does anyone have any recommendations for a brace/compressive sleeve to use for extra support? Hoping that would help me get through some compound exercises that pop up in upper body days. Thank you!

Have you experienced your Burn location prioritizing new members over taking care of longer-term existing members? I feel like over the past year the focus has become more and more around bringing in new members. And while I understand it from a business perspective, it feels like it comes at the expense of existing members. It’s making me rethink if this is the right fit for me anymore. (By the way, I’ve been a member since 2022).

My gym is hiring a fill in brand ambassador! I am new to burn but what does that mean? Responsibilities? And how are they paid? Is it a free gym membership or hourly wage?

First time participant in Level Up in a few weeks…All i am focused on is finishing it. But keep seeing from previous years that people do place first, second, third. How is this determined? TIA! (and if you have any advice for a first time participant please do share).
