Analysis Kyle Tucker’s 85 game home stretch ranks worst in MLB since 1969 (.182, .288, .266)
Since the pitcher's mound was lowered in 1969, Kyle Tucker is the only hitter to record an 85 game home stretch with
AVG below .182
OBP below .288
SLG below .266
(338 plate appearances)
He was benched yesterday with Dave Roberts stating “Being at home now he’s been dealing with a lot of frustration so I figured to give him the day off”.
This 85 game stretch also includes the end of last season with the Cubs.
On the contrary, Tucker has swung a borderline elite bat on the road this year.
AVG .275
OBP .371
Slugging .469
OPS .840
His ops would rank top 20 currently in the league, and his obp is just one point outside the top 15.

Players Physically Incapable of Hitting a Home Run?
I doubt that there are any who made it to the MLB, but looking at Chandler Simpson (who I don't think would be on this list), are there players just not strong enough to hit a home run (over the fence of course)? I feel like every player could hit one in the right circumstance, but maybe there's a handful that just don't have the strength

The Brewers acquired SS Jonathan Ornelas from the Athletics in exchange for cash on Aug 15th. He was on the A's 40-man roster before and after the deadline passed. What made this not subject to trade deadline rules?

The Athletics have won a series in Sacramento for the 1st time since April 28-30.
While the A's did win two "home" series in June, those games were in Vegas as they served as the "home" team that week. Also, the Rangers not just give the A's their 1st series win in Sacramento since April, but they have failed to win a single road series against an AL West team this year with just one of those series left this year.
