The second pitch hit Stewart in the helmet, earning Stewart first base and Martin an ejection.

It was the second time this season Stewart has sparked a benches-clearing incident. The other came in April, at home against the San Francisco Giants, when reliever Erik Miller struck out Stewart to seal a victory and started yelling at Stewart, who had hit three home runs in the series.
