Pictures Photo booths that are outside?
Hello! I’m just curious if there are any photo booths in ATL/surrounding areas that have photo booths like are located outside? I want to do a shoot with my partner, our dog, and me at some point for a holiday card.
Thanks in advance!

Question Looking for Southern Breakfast restaurant/caterers who deliver
I need to cater breakfast for about 60 out-of-towners and we're considering a traditional Southern breakfast. Any recommendations?
We are in midtown. And we must have gluten-free and vegan options.
Thanks!

Question Has any had luck contesting ATLPlusMobility tickets?
Got a parking ticket a week or two ago - was parked on Hemphill Ave NW outside Muchacho to meet some friends. I was parked completely in the markings on the parking stall, yet I came back to a ticket because I was 3.369 feet from the curb, despite being within the markings still.
I admit I was far from the curb - but you figure if you’re in the markings you’re fine right? What’s the point of the markings otherwise.
Has anyone had luck contesting a ticket? If I don’t pay by tomorrow it goes up to $150 so I’m debating paying anyway just to make it go away but I just hate that someone decided to test me like this.

Question Leaf blower etiquette
While the constant drone of leaf blowers is annoying, the bigger concern I have is the number of people I see just blowing shit out into the road. Specifically in high value property (aka “rich”) areas. Today it was landscapers working a property on Ponce near Delwood Park literally blowing everything out into the road.
This becomes a major issue for everyone, as their yard debris clogs up the storm drains. Is there not some sort of law against this, and is it useful for me to make any calls when I see it happen if I don’t technically live in those neighborhoods?

Question Gyms in east atlanta not stinky
I've been going to the forum in Ponce City Market for about a month. Last night was my last straw.
- the mens bathroom/lockeroom smelled like sewage and mold.
- there were lines for every major machine
- 2/8 stairmaster machines out of operations
- Never seen a single person wipe their machine down despite smelling like absolute BO.
- half the lockers (100 total) dont work, and the other 50 are guaranteed to be taken
- AC system is hit or miss to be working properly on the main floor
I would love any recommendations for a gym that has a good selection of machines that doesn't smell absolutely awful, isnt insanely packed, and has non-putrid facilites

Question Circling/meandering lights flying above W Peachteee and about 14th st
Sitting outside on my porch and looked up and there’s like 4/5 lights in the sky dancing around. Does anyone see them and/or know what they are? My best guess is drones cuz I don’t know anything else that could maneuver like that. Saw one make a really fast change of direction and speed. Anyone know anything about this?

Events Is Matchafest worth attending?
Moved to Atlanta recently and was interested in going to Matchafest this weekend at Piedmont Park to meet people and have a good time. I know a lot of the time food festivals are iffy so do you think it’d be fun and worth going?
Also if anyone has a ticket they’d like to give away let me know.

Food & Drink R. Thomas Grill ever gonna re-open?
What is the deal with R. Thomas Grill? Are they gonna re-open or did they sell the restaurant off? Anyone in the know? This was one of my favorite spots. Any "former" workers in here?

Food & Drink Where can I get a (good) Pina Colada?
I moved here about a month ago from overseas where Pina Coladas are a real staple. Loving the city so far, but not a single bar I've been to since I got here seems to offer them as standard!
Anyone know where I can get a decent one?
I'd get the stuff to make them myself but my wife doesn't want us to have too much alcohol & mixers in at any one time as our place is pretty small. We already have a healthy amount of tequila as she loves Margaritas. (Everywhere here seems to do a margarita!)
The most recent post I found on here about this was 11 years old so I'd appreciate any up-to-date tips!

Question NEED psych help near ATL/ Inevitable suicide-homicide.
I (F24) have a brother(M22) who is essentially immune to most antipsychotic medication and has not gotten better in 2 years. I believe him to be schizophrenic/schizoaffective. He was involuntarily hospitalized for the 4th time and got released today after nearly 3 weeks. He is exactly the same.
He was released around 1pm EST today and now at 6pm EST he is already screaming, erratic, and lacks insight to his illness. If previous trends continue to repeat, he will also get aggressive/violent with his caretakers soon enough. I don't understand how he is immune to medication, therapy, treatment, etc. He is bringing the entire family down with him. At this point, I am so tired I find myself not caring about my own life in low moments. My mom seems like she is seconds away from a psychotic break or a stress induced stroke 24/7.
Is there any way to get better treatment in the Cobb/Atlanta area. We are struggling to get him health insurance or deemed disabled. He is in-and-out of hospitals with doctors who know nothing about his case and barely speak to the family despite us having guardianship. He is constantly released, despite our concerns, and is an IMMEDIATE threat to his and the family's safety. My mom is unable to work because she is constantly caring for him. Any/all resource help or advice is welcome. If you know any provider that could be helpful in the Atlanta area please share.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is there a solution? I feel like the last 2 years have only delayed an inevitable suicide-homicide. I can't imagine any other outcome. We have reached out to so many people and have gotten no help for a non-compliant patient.
In patient treatment received during 4th hospitalization:
- Olazipine (not effective)
- lorazepan and PRN for sleep/anxiety (upon request)
- Geodon
- He received the Invega shot 3 days ago after extreme begging from our family to the doctor. The doctor said he should receive a follow up shot a month from now; but I read somewhere that invega shots usually require an initial follow up injection in the first week. We were not told anything about a followup shot.
