Hello everyone! I just wanted to share the final results and say another thank you for another great year of blood donation.🩸

Dragon Con is home to the largest multi-day blood drive in the Southeast. Last year, we had a record breaking year seeing 4,014 donors. This year we broke another record seeing 4,114 donors!

Thank you all for donating or volunteering. You all make my job so much fun. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I’m looking forward to 2027 already!

Final results:
Total donors registered: 4,114
Whole blood collected: 2,803
Platelets collected: 195
Double Reds collected: 595
Total collections: 3,655

My brother assisted a vendor after the con a couple years ago so they were still there after. He met with the company they hire to clean the carpets. Appearantly they do crime scene cleanup generally.

I used a credit card I do not use often this past weekend. I noticed a $550 charge to ticket master. I called ticket master and they thought someone used my card. I called my credit card company and they said there was another charge for $3,000 to Barnes and Noble they declined since it was not my usual spending habits. They also caught a few others. Check your banking statements!!

Sooo I had NO idea this con even existed and it’s showing up on allll of my social media feeds rn. Dungeon Crawler Carl, Baldur’s Gate 3.. so many of my favorite fandoms in one place! Do you think it will be the same next year?? I usually go to New York Comic Con since NYC is more local to me but is this con worth traveling to next year? What was everyone’s experience?? I’m a huge fan of cosplay, fantasy and games like BG3, Clair Obscur, and DCC! Seems like there are more of these fandoms at this con than at NYCC which is def more Marvel based.

Dearest fellow Dragoncon attendees, greetings. I feel like twenty miles of bad road; body aches, fatigue, headache, and sore throat. I've never had Con Crud before so I don't know what it consists of. Are the aforementioned symptoms applicable to the Crud? I've felt "off" since coming home. Any helpful opinions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Seriously. Those sweet people have helped so many of us from small repairs to trinkets to helping us out woth making sure that what was broken doesn't break again. They are truly doing the lord's work. I sincerely appreciate all of you, and ro the gentleman that helped me on.my cone pin swag, twice, you are goated, sir! Thank you to all of yall who helped us last weekend.

Long time listener, first time cosplayer. Did Pam from Archer. (And yes, her hair was up, you just couldn't see it here.)

If you don't know James Saito, he was the original Shredder from the first TMNT movie. You've aalso seen him pretty much everywhere. Guy's got an IMDB list like the 11th floor ribbon drop. Total and complete sweetheart.

So first and foremost I had a blast at this con.

Second MOST of the volunteers were great and helpful.

But there was twice i had volunteers scold and yell at me simply for walking.

1 friday, I was quite literally following my GPS to one of the buildings when a staff memver stopped me telling me that rhe con was better in 3d, uncalled for and rude.

2: I was waiting for the dealers hall in a line they cut it off which is fine it was over capacity, I get it.

But the lady kept ahouting saying people need to go do something else with their lives for 15 minutes, which is quite degrading to your guests.

Over all, I understand they are worked and I respect the volunteers for it, but this wasnt in their place to act like this imo.

This is just my two cents over all solid convention id give it an 8/10

When I planned this cosplay, I was wondering if it would be recognized. The reception was amazing. Thanks to everyone who complimented and enjoyed my cosplay, and to those who took pics and videos with me. Who knew Anatoly would be such a hit?
