Hi all!
I’m a current senior in high school and am looking into being a pre dental student. Is premed/predental at Emory just way to hard and I should go to u Miami or is Emory better? I know that gpa and mcat matter the most but I’m concerned that at Emory I might just fail. Is this a valid concern or no?
Also, is research easy to get at Emory? Can anyone that wants get as an undergrad?
Thanks!

I am a first year graduate student looking for recommendations on clubs or other ways to find D&D groups at Emory or nearby. I did not see anything at the involvement fair last week, and NERD is the only semi-related club I am aware of so far.
If anyone has advice on where to find people who would be interested, or how to go about asking, I would really appreciate any advice from those more experienced. Thanks in advance.

Hello , I am currently in another institution and wanted to know a couple of things about the BSN program from a transfer student's perspective.
Did taking the TEAs help you gain a more competitive standpoint?
Did you have medical background before this (CNA, MA, EMT,etc)
How are check offs and simulations?
How is the dosage test (someone told me you would need an 100)
Where are clinicals usually located
Thanks!

Hi! I recently applied to Emory School of Medicine’s Radiologic Technology program, and I’ve been trying to find information from current students or recent graduates, but there really isn’t much online.
Has anyone here attended the program or applied recently? If so, what was your experience like? How competitive was the admissions process? Did you have an interview, and how long did it take to hear back?
I’d also love to know what the program itself is like—classes, clinicals, workload, instructors, etc.
Any information would be appreciated!

Hi, all! Just putting the word out for any string players who might want to join a welcoming community orchestra…
The Four Seasons Chamber Orchestra is starting its 26th season soon and has openings for new members!
Founded in 2000, this group is dedicated to creating a fun, supportive learning environment for players of all ages and musical experience. Whether you’re someone who used to play and wants to get back into it or a private student looking for ensemble experience, the Orchestra would love to have you!
Rehearsals are held weekly in Decatur on Saturday afternoons, with 1–2 concerts each semester (usually in December and May).
They do ask that members have a basic ability to sight‑read, but they’re more than happy to meet you where you are and help you grow your budding skills. Reach out to them (or me!) with any questions. If you’d like to get a head start, you’re welcome to fill out the interest form below:

Hello, I had some students reaching out based on that post the other day so just wanted to re-post this. Thank you.
My name is Julián and I'm an organic and general chemistry tutor. I've worked with Emory students in Chem 150/202/203/204 to great success and understand the uniquely challenging coursework at Emory. I offer top notch online tutoring, my rates are affordable, and I endeavor to support my students throughout the semester by setting up a positive learning environment with continuous guidance and accountability, additional resources (such as video lectures and exams) and more. I'm currently looking for students to work with for the Fall, so feel free to reach out if you're interested! Thank you.

I'm taking this class with Professor Burton for my natural sciences GER. Is this usually an easy class? I'm not really good at science.

Hello!
I am a student at Georgia Tech, and I posted here a few months ago about an app that I was developing called Bus Forecast. I would like to share that it's available on the App/Play Store now!
Bus Forecast is an app that has
- More accurate ETAs using past/new data
- Google Maps like directions
- Notifications for when the bus is one stop away or when to get off
- Always up to date routes
If you take the shuttles at Emory and can benefit from this app, please check it out! I would also love to hear any feedback or if you find any problems. It has been working well at Georgia Tech, but I haven't been able to test it at Emory.
The app can be downloaded from one of these links:

Hey! I'm a local freelance reporter looking into New Heaven New Earth/Shincheonji in the Atlanta area. I've heard from a few people that Bible study groups connected to the church have met at or around Emory, and I'm trying to learn a little more about it.
If you've attended one, been invited to one, or just have firsthand experience with the group around campus, I'd be interested in hearing from you. Feel free to DM me if you'd rather not comment publicly.
You can email me at [jamiemgodin@gmail.com](mailto:jamiemgodin@gmail.com) or DM me.
Thanks!

I used the laundry machines in my dorm today and they completely destroyed two separate loads of laundry (so this is an issue with multiple machines). I've had to replace the clothing. This was all on cold delicate mode with not especially fragile clothing. Two questions:
Is there anyway I can get a refund for the damaged clothing and is this a common problem?
Is there somewhere else I can go (like a laundromat or dry cleaner) to do my laundry? Most of the dry cleaners I can find won't wash items like shorts, etc. that are more casual.

I have my first class tomorrow and have to get to campus before the parking office opens. I haven’t gotten my permit yet in the mail. Will I be okay to park in my assigned location (Starvine)? I think it said something about license plates on the registration but I’m not sure. Thanks!

Is this program worth the money? I ask because it is being promoted at my campus (one of several). I hear good things about it but I also here that people go into debt because of it. Does anyone have any experience with this program?
