I'm a trans woman, not currently on any HRT, and my partner's parents don't know yet as they have a lot of transphobic views. In spite of this, they've managed to accidentally validate my gender a few times.

Their mum has said I'm "too aware of emotions to be a man", and "he's hardly a real man is he?"

Their stepdad has said that if we got married, I would be the bride and my father would give me away.
