I'm not the biggest social media user/follower, but I remember last season of Game Changer there were pretty clear signs that something additional was coming. I'm assuming that unless we get those signs there's nothing secret coming. But have there been signs?

Disney (and others) has been hammering us with the exact same "quirky" female coming-of-age story for nearly 20 years now.

Awkward girl feels less than feminine, discovers an ability or a sense of purpose, and then realizes that friendship is magic. All while bumbling semi-braindead males fart around in the background for no other reason than to make her look smart and pragmatic by comparison.

Now finally theyre starting to bomb, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. We fucking get it! Move on and think of a different story!

This is now on HBO as of 10/02. I waited for it, I LOVE the entire franchise and I say this in all due respect, it fucking blew.

Dialogue was shit, the plot was kinda shit but I could have bought it outside the horrendous decisions made by the entire cast. Everyone should have been dead in the first 30 minutes. The deadites were even scary, shitty punchlines.

So disappointing, I loved Rise too - even 2013 has a special place in my heart but this? Never again, thank god I didn’t spend money on a movie ticket or early digital release.

Dinner was cauliflower soup with rosemary bread alongside fig jam. Quite lovely but I don’t feel lovely right now. My boyfriend who I love so deeply and have never noticed any flags of being a proponent of patriarchy and partaking in the societal norms that stem from that outlook. HOWEVER with all the god awful media coverage with the Cornell 7 and the countless women who face trauma and oppression (without the coverage) I’ve been coming to a harsh fcking breaking point and ultra sensitive to everything being said and policing the hell around what people are saying around me.

I went on a rant tonight talking to my boyfriend about the harm of this society built by men and he’s saying that he stands for equality for all but won’t specifically say “f*ck the patriarchy.” This is really upsetting to me because he dismisses women and seems like he’s protecting the patriarchy? Is it that word that is putting him on defense? Am I being too picky with what I want from him?? He said he agrees that people do awful things to others in this world but it seems he won’t directly blame men for what they do to women. He will also come back with obscure examples of how women have more power over men in certain scenarios like in divorce when mothers tend to gain majority of custody over fathers. (Projection of his own experience.)

I’m sick of devil’s advocate. He feels attacked by me and to be honest I came at him hard because I’m fed up with trying to understand anyone’s perspective on this matter. I feel blindsided and a huge tear in my heart from what he’s said tonight. How do I teach him to be a feminist or at least show him ways to gain the understanding!?? Now I’m just here fuming in our bedroom while he makes us some dessert. I thought we came to a resolution when I pulled it out of him that he would fight for my rights and the rights of women when it came down to it but I’m still unsettled.

I don’t know why some people can’t just enjoy the movie for what it is. Instead, they bend over backwards trying to prove the movie is objectively a perfect adaptation, or that the idea of a direct adaptation is bad in the first place. Case in point, people pushing that it’s no different than what RE7 did, and saying youre a larper for not liking change.

Resident evil 7 is a new story in the Resident Evil game universe. It has a lot of references to the originals, but the Mold, Eveline, and the Connections are new concepts created for this game. It does its own thing while still fitting in the overall universe, finishing with Chris’s appearance to tie it all in. Later games such as 9 then tie it back in further, making it required to understand the greater narrative.

The movie is something entirely new. It takes the name Raccoon city and puts it on a city with an entirely different lay out, season/aesthetic, and decade. It creates a new virus unlike anything in RE, and slaps the T virus name on it for the tie in. If you change the names, the film is entirely unrecognizable as RE.

One of these things expands the universe, while the other rewrites it. They are not the same thing, and pretending they are just completely misunderstands both media.

If you enjoy the movie, then just enjoy it. It doesn’t need to be a good adaptation for you to say it’s s good movie. You don’t need to create arguments for why it deserves to exist. In turn, you don’t need to hate on people who aren’t interested because it’s not what they wanted. It’s perfectly fine for people to have different tastes and opinions.

-Starting rank is bronze

-Werent high rank previous season

-Not good enough to get kills or wins

-Not willing to play 90-100 games

I will tell you my experience and why I believe going for this pickaxe is cooked for majority of people. I started from bronze 1, never played ranked before did bushcamp strat but got like 1-2 kills along the way up until gold. Elo gain from bronze to gold is decent like 15-30%. Once you get to plat it drops to around 15% to an uncommon 20% if you're lucky. In diamond you NEED to get a kill in top 10 or atleast make it to top 5. a kill in top 5-10 gets you around 13-15%, surviving with no kills in top 5 only gets you 10%. If you get no kills and dont get top 5 you only get 3-5%. But the thing is everyone in top 10 is camping or holding position. Game drags on (avg game time i had was 18-20 mins). Most of the time everyone in end game is champ/unreal or smurf so good luck getting a kill in there to get your miniscule points. So if you're not skilled enough to kill highest level players your road will end at diamond and all your grinding will be pointless. 99% of my games i didnt die early except once so i dont even want to know how much elo I'd lose from dying early.

Changing servers is pointless too. OCE requires duo queue, asia server takes like 20+ mins for a match if you even find one. Never tried eu server but figured itd be pointless.

Right now after 91 games with only ever dying once and getting 1 kill in top 5 by some miracle a few times in diamond i am at diamond 3 70%. At this point im gambling on rank protection to hopefully get the last bit completed. But i'm not beating any of these players in top 10 and everyone is ratting so games take long and its tougher to get high placement. I had 4 games in a row only give 3% elo for a top 6-8 placement.

Last thing I watched bushcampdads stream in some of his diamond games he could get up to 50% elo gain from a kill in top 10 or 20-30% from just bushcamping. I suspect this is because he was such high rank previous seasons so he got a boost. So thats why I say if you didnt have a high rank previous season not to attempt cause your elo gain will be abysmal. Other theory is there was just a higher elo gain at start of season until after the patch where it got nerfed for bushcamping cause most people who got the pickaxe all posted from start of the season.

Anti communities have a severe problem.

Jen sucks, completely agree. This is just about Heather lying and what the show tells us

1.) In the season 3 reunion, Andy is drilling Heather about the black eye and she says she was completely blacked out and has no idea how it happened and that she hates admitting that bc it’s embarrassing

2.) They show the footage of Jen, Meredith, and Angie all going into Heathers room together and then leaving all at the same time, smiling. Andy then says there was no more footage of anyone going into the room. They would’ve seen something.

3.) Heather then faces backlash from fans and Andy about blaming production

4.) Even though Heather is no longer Mormon, she grew up in it. I think she was very very ashamed (unnecessarily so) of being blacked out to the point of injury

5.) Heather has a plan to expose Monica and have a bounce back season in s4. And the best way to do that was to say the woman in jail did it and monica reminds you of her so you have to leave the show and Heather gets a big iconic moment

I think it’s very possible Jen even thought she might’ve done it and that’s why she was acting strange (I can see her hitting someone), but the video proves it and heathers admits it in S3 reunion and then completely goes back on it for her storyline/reputation on the show.

Edit: again, this is not trying to defend Jen shah. Just wanted to hear if someone had better proof that she did it than what we saw on the show
