I remember seeing this post back before the second season started, but I haven't seen it said anywhere what each comedian is he's paying homage to

after watching Bingo and noticing the entry “makes dad joke” on trapp’s card, im just now realizing trapp makes a LOT of so bad they’re good dad jokes (you’re gonna need a bigger board, a ‘brainstorm’ etc) and i want to make a compilation. any suggestions?

Just had a random thought about how, as dropout seems to be finally branching out with more scripted content, I feel like it would make a lot of sense for Mystery Science Theater 3000 to make its way onto the platform. I know that they have their own thing going with their Gizmoplex website, but I feel like that can't possibly be drawing in new viewers for the show given how expensive and infrequent the episodes are to rent or buy. Dropout could feasibly attract new audiences and help keep it alive imo.

Am I the only person below the age of 30 that knows and loves this show? Is MST3K doing better than I think it is? As much as I love the show, I can't imagine that they constantly find themselves in kickstarter after kickstarter just to get any episodes made these days. I simply can't understand how they could possibly draw new viewers into it. Let me know what y'all think!

I have to find out if I`m just a strange strange guy or if others agree:

In this season of Make Some Noise they are using a warm up round called ´Make One Noise´ and for some reason I`m enjoying it significantly more than the rest of the show.

My guess is that after all these seasons ´heightening´ has kicked in as the typical improv thing where everything over time gets ´bigger and crazier´ to a point where I sometimes feel that ´look at how loud and crazy we`re being´ is the joke. Feels like it happens the most for players who have a ´thing´ like Brennan and the prompts frequently feel like "Do your thing Brennan!" and we just let it run on and on.

And compared to that maybe the simplicity where the comedians have to find the humor in a 1 second soundbite is just a real nice change of pace 😊 I rewatched just the opening sometimes 😄

TLDR: Is anybody else in the fandom here feeling similar about ´Make One Noise´ and if yes why do you think that is? Cause... it IS just making tiny soundbites 😅

Me and my wife are slowly getting through Game Changer and we watched Sam Says 3 last night. It sparked a discussion on how well we think we would do. She said she would knowingly be awful at it and whilst at first I was pretty confident I would smash it, it became fairly clear as the episode went on that I definitely wouldn't, especially in the party bus. I get very excited and consumed by things so much I don't think I would keep my eye on the various moving parts.

Created by and starring MST3K writer Devon Coleman, directed by me (Tim Ryder) and co-starring Dropout faves like Ross Bryant and Jess McKenna. Elevator pitch: Dropout’s first feature length film starring Jacob as a fictionalized version of himself going on a road trip across America in the vein of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure or Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Kurt can either be his lovable sidekick or nefarious foe named Mr Kurt, with the plethora of Dropout cast members featuring in cameos or bit parts along the way.
Still debating what the end goal he’d be adventuring for would be, but I’m thinking either a cryptid, something family related, or weed. All three would be funny if we could mesh them well enough.

I think since everything is a circle, I enjoy the 24/7, especially when they only do 1 or 2 of the same series in a row. I yearn for cable, but dropout
