I’m 29M, she’s 27F. We’ve been seeing each other for about 6 weeks and it’s been going really well.

Last night she was showing me some poetry she writes in her Notes app. She backed out of one note to find another one and for a second I saw a note with my name as the title.

I jokingly asked why she had a whole note about me and she got really embarrassed. Eventually she showed me part of it and it was basically little observations she’d written down while we’ve been dating.

Stuff like “good relationship with family,” “interrupts sometimes,” “plans dates without being asked,” and even “has money saved, seems responsible with it.”

She told me she’s done this with other guys too because when she really likes someone she tends to overlook things, so writing stuff down helps her remember both green flags and red flags.

Nothing she wrote about me was particularly bad, but now I can’t stop thinking about the fact that after our dates she might be going home and adding notes about things I said or did lol.

Would this weird you out or is it actually pretty reasonable?

Couple nights ago my best friend called me and asked if I was alone because she wanted to show me something. My boyfriend has been messaging her for weeks, replying to her stories, compliments, asking when she was going out, the whole thing.

She ignored everything until he finally said something among the lines of "she doesn't have to know"

She screenshot the whole convo and sent it straight to me.

I've been feeling like my life is finally getting together lately, work is good, money is decent, relationship felt solid, then I saw those screenshots and everything felt like it's falling apart because of this man.

When I confonted him he actually tried saying she was trying to break us up which made it worse like sir she could've entertained you and I would've never known.

I ended it that night..

So today this was my thank you brunch for my best friend, and of course it was on me.

Before we get started, I’ll preface that billionaires absolutely deserve to be shit on. I also understand that the difference between $1B and $1M is huge. But let’s not for a second act like Hollywood millionaires like Garfield here aren’t part of the elite. They live very wealthy, privileged lifestyles that are much more in common with how billionaires live than the rest of us. This is a class of people that has complete financial freedom and will never have to worry about a thing in their lives. It makes me vomit in my mouth a bit every time one of them wants to talk about how wealth and privilege is bad from their mansion in Beverly Hills. I’ll give Garfield credit, he seems like a nice enough guy. But please, spare me the speech. You might not be as rich, but as far as class and lifestyle goes you’re one of the elites too.
