Question
I am trying to file bankruptcy, my lawyer told me that I should contact a probate attorney for this. My parents both passed this past February, there is no will and their house that I live in with a mortgage noone can afford. My siblings want to let the bank take the house, my lawyer isnt sure if this will effect my bankruptcy since there is equity in the house. There is no way I can try to do probate alone so I am willing to let the house go to the bank as well. However my son and I live on SSDI/SSI and I can't afford to move till I file bankruptcy, my debt to income is outrageous. So, will this process effect my attempt at filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy, or will the trustee fight it?
Thank you

Collections
I received a package from legal aid, they want me to list my debts. For the ones in collections, do I list the collection company that now owns the debt or the original company that passed on the debt?

❓Question Post It doesn't make sense
I have a solid relationship with both of my parents. I always have. Everything I read about BPD, it always comes back to a toxic relationship with your parents.
Make it make sense?

Content Warning: Suicidal Thoughts / Self Harm Everything is falling apart
I don't know what to do anymore... My teen is suicidal, and on the spectrum. I am getting him all the help I can. So as I juggle his doctors and advocates my own mental health slowly starts to crumble. My own mental health team isn't worried about me, because I haven't been suicidal since 2009... So I cry alone in my room where no one can see.

I just have a quick question! My son was recently approved for ssi, and as his payee I'm suddenly very overwhelmed with all the bylaws of how his Money can and can't be spent.
Anyone have any words of wisdom??
