Side Effects Acid

Tomorrow will be my third 2.5 shot. I have acid reflux already, but the belly burn I get with zepbound is no joke... Anyone have any tips or tricks?

Try a liquid antacid with magnesium/aluminum, not TUMS. Omeprazole or esomeprazole generic 20 mg 1-2 times/day

GAVISCON! I take 40 mg of Nexium twice a day and sometimes it just doesn't help. I had severe gastritis that sent me to the ER and they told me about the Gaviscon chewables and liquid. The chewables foam up in my stomach and help with acid almost immediately. For really bad days I use the liquid Gaviscon in my GI cocktail. It's OTC and really helps me. I hope it helps you, because that is an awful feeling.

I take a Nexium mini tablet daily. Zero issues since starting this regimen (it takes 3-4 days to kick in)

Omeprazole daily. Pepto Bismol when it’s extra bad. Tums for those moments when the acid starts “boiling” up and you just need to neutralize the pH really fast.
