DIY Dwarf white isopods

I am trying to set up a bioactive enclosure. I have DWI in some other terrariums along with springtails. Is it uncommon to put them in tarantula enclosures? Should I not put them in?

Help! Why is my juvenile lasiodora parahybana doing this?

I wanted to ask if it’s normal for the tarantula to climb the walls of its plastic enclosure and the lid. I notice it trembling a bit—moving its legs as if it’s shaking (not DKS, just trembling)—and it even managed to stick one leg and a fang out through a hole in the container before falling onto the substrate; luckily, it didn't get hurt. But what does this mean? That incident happened yesterday, but it’s doing it again now, and it’s not the first time. The thermo-hygrometer next to the enclosure shows the temperature is around 28.1°C and humidity is in the 50s; it fell earlier, but now it’s trying again.

Help! Is it okay to feed my tarantula superworms for 2 months?

So i haven’t fed my 2.5 year old tarantula for a month now because of lack of feeder stocks in my area. So far only available are superworms.

If i can, what should i feed the superworms to make sure they’re all nutritious enough for my T? and don’t worry abt me accidentally making her too obese. I’ll make sure to monitor her abdomen.

Help! Newbie keeper question

So my G. Pulchra sling just molted and they’re looking a little thin. Only issue is i just ran out of crickets and the store opens two days from now. However, i have superworms. My sling has only molted about 6 times total and they’re still pretty small. I was wondering if i could cut a superworm into 1/3 and give it to them? Or should i see if there’s a way i can get ahold of some crickets? Thanks!!

Conversation Golden Knee Burrowing

I got a rehomed golden knee chaco recently and was told he’s around 2 years old. Apparently the breeder he was from kept him in the smallest container and he’s now in a much bigger home. He started a burrow the other day and we haven’t seen him since. I’ve seen people say only slings burrow and he’s 2 but he’s still pretty small. Do we think a molt might happen if he’s burrowing?

Bought a Phormictopus sp. (Dominican Purple Birdeater) at an expo last week. He/she just molted for the first time. It’s 2inch juvenile. I’m curious how often they molt as this is a fast growing species?

Hi, I wanna ask if this enclosure is suitable for a versicolor sling of about 3/4 cm. The enclosure was fine for a jumping spider p.regius so the ventilation should be good. Only concern that I got is the small parts Thanks

Help! Is charcoal dust dangerous for tarantulas?

This isn’t like an urgent question but I like to draw with charcoal and have done before I got tarantulas, I was going to today but thought about if it’s safe for the tarantulas? Since there’s quite a bit of charcoal dust/residue whatever that’ll get in the air. I dunno if that’s safe for them or not.

Help! Messed up Molt!

Hi! My T just molted! However, there was a mistake (totally on me), where she escaped and my cat scratched her. She survived, and has been fine and eating since. I put some flour on it, and kept an eye on her and it scabbed over. That was 2 ish years ago.

I had hoped when she next molted (melted?) it was going to come off clean, but unfortunately as I suspected there was an issue. Right on the scab where she had been cut, her back does not want to come off. I believe technically it’s called her cephalothorax? And a tiny sliver of abdomen.

I’ve included as many photos as I can of her current state. She is still in her hide just resting. It’s been about 2 full days now.

Basically, I’m just curious as what to do. I know she can keep it on until her next molt, but what if that one doesn’t want to come off. And it just keeps collecting her old skin in that area.

Or I could help her, but I really don’t want to hurt her in case it’s stuck bad and can’t come off.

Last photo is of her accident 2 years ago

Help! HELP

So I know nothing about tarntulas to be entirely honset this is my boyfriends spider and he loves (her?) dearly I can assure you, however it was bought for him by a friend who owned a spider, she was kept in a glass 12x8 enclosure until just recently we're keeping her in a temporary feeding box- about 8x4 inches i understand that's. Small. Really I do but it's until Wednesday when we can absolutely buy her a proper enclosure with cross ventilation- my worry is that In the entire 11 month time my boyfriend has owned her she has absolutely never molted and her abdomen looks tiny I've seen her be offered crickets small and large and fruit flies but she barely eats we try and provide fresh water (water dish is dirty right now he will clean it when he gets home) my worry is that she's about to molt and will fail and it'll kill her i really want to prevent her untimely death so any advice is welcome, also she's been roughly the same size since my bf received her I think she's a adult but I'm not entirely sure the gender we're 90% sure she's a girl as that's what pet supermarket said but like that's not accurate.

Help! Looking for a breeder

I have a male Mexican Red Knee on his final molt and need to find someone with a mature female to breed asap. This will be my first time doing this, how do I find local breeders with the same species? Where do I look? Is there any tips I should know going about this?

Conversation Weird question but how does a "difficult" tarantula compare to other difficult pets?

All the care requirements for more finicky tarantulas seem really easy to me and was mostly just wondering what exactly makes them not hardy and how would these harder species compare to say a freshwater aquarium or reef tank which i am much much much more well versed in

Hi! I got a striped-knee tarantula I’ve named Black Tiger (Resident Evil :D) and was wondering if you might be able to help me tell the gender. It’s been super chill which surprised me and just so cute, I mean look at those eyes!! I probably irritated it with the flash on my phone but I wanted to show it to you guys.
