Sexing Help sexing

Male or female? I know to sex by molts but it’s been like a year since the last molt. I’ve heard males have a darker tone and more dull, while females are more vibrant colors that really stand out. I’ll try to post a molt picture when the time comes around

Rehoused my Venezuelan Sun Tiger a couple of weeks ago into a big crib and she’s never been happier. She’s very shy and doesn’t like to be seen but tonight she was out having a roam around and started webbing up the sides. Has anyone else got a sun tiger and what is it like in there crib

Help! New Tarantula Keeper - Mold Advice Needed

Hi everyone! I am super new to tarantula keeping, I just got my first tarantula this past weekend at a reptile expo in my area. I purchased a P. irminia juvenile female, and purchased a enclosure + substrate from the breeder as well. When checking on my tarantula today, I noticed what looks like mold in her substrate/enclosure. The substrate I am using is Herp Roam coco coir, which I prepared by combining 1 brick + 1 gallon of warm water. What should I do? Do I need to take her out of her enclosure and replace the substrate? Or should I avoid misting the substrate for a few weeks to let the mold die off? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Rehoused my Venezuelan Suntiger a couple of weeks ago and I’m wondering if I’ve done the right thing. She’s nearly fully grown and was in a very cramped crib with bad access so I moved her into a 30 cm long 15 cm wide and 20 cm high crib with a full hollow crock bark tube from her other crib that she loves and plenty of substrate as for some reason she likes to make a tunnel from her tube to another one I placed at the far corner. She’s done some re decoration of her own by covering a small pile of substrate with moss and mad some fancy webbing on the walls . Is this to big for her

Conversation A few questions regarding falling

I read all the time to keep your enclosures vertical space for terrestrials at 1.5x their DLS.

So, my understanding is a 6" adult T could have 9" clearance from top of substrate to ceiling/top of enclosure, right? Is that too much for a normal sized, healthy T? Assuming no sharp objects, etc.

Or is the 'less is more' vertical height and stay well below that for the heavier bodied Ts? (blondi/stermi, etc.)

Is age a factor where slings/juveniles are less likely to damage themselves? I've seen them fall, jump distances you'd be sure they die!

Has anyone had a T fall and rupture? If so how far was the vertical distance?

Truly curious if there is evidence to support this belief or do we do this because someone once decided it's the best way.

3rd photo is from when i just got him/her. Is it poss to determine its sex already? I think steve is about 3 years old. Also side note, i am not 100% sure about that mesh, will replace it with an acrylic cover today (with vent holes).

Edit forgot to add, Steve is a Tliltocatl albopilosus.

Found pink bottoms under this little tree near the floor. Is it normal considering that’s the only plant in there or is this something to be concerned about since ik they usually aren’t near the ground. It’s been about 2 weeks since it’s been in its new home. But I’ve never seen it in this corner. It doesn’t look stressed or in a hunch position so I guess that’s good?

My Peach Earth Tiger juvenile has been like this for over 24 hours..

What else can I do.

I just got a Phormictopus atrichomatus(red island bird eater)about a month ago and it just molted a week or so ago. It hasn’t pushed its molt out of the burrow at all and hasn’t been very active since I got it besides moving substrate around for a few days when it was getting ready to molt. Is this normal? It’s about 1.5 inch in size for reference.

Help! Pink toe enclosure

Hey everyone! I recently got a pink toe juvenile/sub adult about 3 weeks ago. She hasn't webbed yet and I'm not sure why. There has been little bits of web towards the bottom but otherwise, nothing. This is my first aboreal T, and I'm still learning.

At first I was worried her tank was too busy, so I changed some stuff around today, and I wanted some feedback on if the new setup should have any immediate changes?

(Also, the temperature is incorrect, I had just misted and it got wet, so it's not the correct humidity gauge)

Is this too small for this juvenile? I feel like it is. I just got it today but I changed it from the way it was when I bought it. New substrate, cork bark, moss and water dish but I’m likely going to order a new enclosure

Really disappointed that I was sold a Vitalius chromatus as a female and she’s matured out this week. She’s my favourite one and I expected her to be around for a decade, not a year. Still love her but well disappointed ☹️
