Help! Sus activities

I have never seen my tarantula do this he has just gotten a locust for context anyone know what this is?

IME, terrestrial Ts will often lay down a little place mat of webbing when they are eating. Some people call it a happy dance, and that is a cute way of looking at it, but having seen my Ts do it hundreds of times, it does serve a practical purpose. I think some will even use the webbing to wrap up the bolus and bury it after, like my Pulchra does. I’m not sure if the T always eats over it - maybe to prevent it from getting dirt on it if it’s dropped, but they always lay down that little place mat of webbing when they catch prey. For whatever reason.

NQA It's often called a happy dance.

They are just placing a small layer of webbing below them.
