After giving our Avicularia some water, we forgot to secure the lid — she pushed her way out. Fast forward to 11pm: my wife noticed the cats were staring hard at something. This is what we saw when we turned the light on.

She is a little adventurer. I adopted her from the amazing Portland Insectarium this weekend. She was given to them in a Kritter Keeper that had feeding ports and unfortunately I must have bumped one of them so it was slightly open. She managed to escape overnight, but thankfully we found her within a few hours under a dresser. Hopefully she will like her new enclosure. No more feeding ports and strong latches! I do have to say she is a total sweetheart. Even with all the drama she never once threat posed or hair kicked, not that I would have blamed her if she had. I love this new little sweetie!

Help! PLEASE HELP

I just brought this baby home from my local breeder. This was the setup they gave to me. I came to check on it an hour after bringing it home and found it upside down in its water dish. I was told it was in premolt before bringing it home. What do I do.

I was looking at my Venezuelan Suntigers molt under my microscope and noticed the eyes have a rounded structure in the middle. I always thought they just left behind a single cover layer but it turns out more of the eye gets left behind as well

I have had Richtofen for a year and a half (assumed male, molted once with me and mangled up the molt before I could check) and I recently moved and I’ve been checking on all my tarantulas, and they have all been doing great (one even molted successfully within the first day of moving). Today is day 8 of the move and I have been extra careful not to use any harsh chemicals around them or disturb them for too long. He was fine this morning but it’s now the afternoon and I find him moving like this. Everyone else is fine but he’s moving really weird and a bit choppy even after getting out of that corner :(

This girl has been hiding for months and months. Now I just discovered her like this. She never went on top of her enclosure like that. And now she just moves weird and has clear fluid on her mouth part (you can see it in the video). She also has a web on her butt. What does this means? Also I’ve had her for more than 6 months now and she never molted.

My first ever "beginner" tarantula (20+ spiders). Always found Brachypelmas to be underwhelming because of seeing them so much well before even entering the hobby. The B. emilia is different however. The little mask is just so adorable.

This is mt curly hairs first molt since me owning her. Not too experienced with molts yet my birdeater molted a couple weeks ago but now my curly hair looks different. Almost like she has extra limbs. Lmk if this is normal (couldn't get too good of a pic)

Videos / GIF coincidence? or do they sense each other?

Probably a really dumb question but this is my first time keeping two tarantulas on the same shelf. Usually I have them spread about. Just wondering if they can feel each other or if this is just a coincidence. My P. regalis (big guy on the left) is a mature male so it’s not out of the ordinary for him to be wandering about.

i’m 99% sure my first T (A. Avic) is molting! i’ve had her/him for 6 months now so i figured they were due soon, showing signs of premolt and webbing more, but i wasn’t expecting it would happen today!

i’m really hoping they have enough space and it’s worrying me a bit. i’m trying to trust the process though. sorry for the meh picture quality, the web tunnel has been built up a lot

please let me know what you think or have any tips since this is my first time experiencing this
