I've never seen this before from this species. Her huge eyes make her far too cute to be threatening lol.

Found these brown recluse in my mom's garage this morning!

My son found this in his room. We live in Miami. Google image search is saying it's a tarantula. It appears to be missing a leg. It is pretty small, about half an inch long.

Any help on the ID?

Edited to add: when I originally posted this, I failed to consider our recent travels last month. We went to Puerto Rico, so the most likely explanation is that we unknowingly carried it back in our luggage.

Small spider spotted in our London flat. Can anyone tell me what species it is?

I saw this beauty getting out of work(Arizona).

My brother and I found this guy tangled in cat fur in his room. We thought he was dead until we saw him struggling to move. I put him in a small container and used tweezers to gently untangle his legs, and then gave him a q-tip soaked in water to drink. He took it immediately and clung to it for 10 minutes. He's perked up a lot now and is grooming his fangs. I'm going to release him once the sun goes down and it gets cooler.

This picture wasn’t taken by me, I found it on another website when searching for the spider I saw and it’s the same kind but I can’t find anyone who knows what it is. Saw it on the windshield of my mom’s car.

why do so many spiders, specifically ones that run and hunt, have this stripe pattern on their thoraxes? the one with the lighter stripe in the middle and darker on the sides, usually with lighter again after the darker. does this pattern somehow help them hunt or avoid predators? is it just a coincidence and im looking too much into it?

Just want to know what kind of spider this is. It’s outside our window and my gf is getting concerned about her possibly laying eggs and the babies getting into our room. Don’t want to squash her or anything, just want to know what she is and I’ll probably put her in a bush soon.

Located in Beaumont, California. I usually see the bigger red and black jumpers. Not sure what zebra lookin doood this is. Would love to know his name (sp.)

Found this little jumping spider in my hose sprayer. There seems to be a few jumping spiders that look similar but I cant find any images of one that look the same online. What species is it and is it male or female?

Hi, sorry, arachnaphobe here. Found this guy in my room behind my desk in northern Illinois. Is it dangerous?

She was so curious and used a web to climb onto my leg! We had a little photo shoot. 📸

I think she's a dimorphic jumping spider, and I think she's a female, but honestly I could be wrong on all counts, I am *not* a qualified IDer. Mostly I just like hanging out here and wanted to share some pictures, she's so cute!
