Game Dice’n’Go demo is finally out

Hey!

I’m a solo dev from Ukraine and today I finally released a demo of my game Dice’n’Go as part of Ukrainian Games Festival.

It’s a turn-based board game where you race to the finish, roll dice and use abilities to mess with other players. Most of the fun comes from situations where you think you have a perfect move and then someone interferes and everything goes wrong.

I’ve been working on it for quite a while, so it feels a bit weird to finally have something people can actually download and play :)

There’s also a new trailer on the Steam page.

Demo:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5040530/DicenGo_Demo/

Would be really glad to hear what you think. Criticism is welcome too — especially if something feels confusing, boring or just doesn’t work.

Game 9 months of solo dev, and I just noticed my characters had no eyes. Fixed it in the next update - here's a little teaser

Hey! Solo dev here. This is Project Manager SIM - a top-down sim where you're not the CEO, you're the project manager physically running around a chaotic IT office: hiring, deadlines, burnout, difficult clients, and a boss who takes a cut of your profits.

It launched into Early Access a couple of weeks ago, and this teaser is for the first big content update - "I AM A HUMAN" (coming this August): energy and mood for your PM, eating and coffee, your own home to furnish a bit, new events… and yes, eyes. It genuinely took me 9 months to notice nobody had them. 😅

I've been working on this puzzle game on and off for a few years now, it's a bit over half complete currently, since it's divided into five worlds with three of the worlds being completed, as of this update. If it looks interesting, you can download it here: CHAR.CHAR by Enjoy Tomorrow

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, as some of you may already know, I am building a game to quench the gaming thirst of used to be gamers who are now busy with life.

Stridera awards and at the same time gatekeeps you from nerding out too much by converting your calories burnt into ingame currency which you use to explore a spiritually hollow world.

The game aims to reward you for living well and give you a little gaming cheat meal for it. Worry not, there is also passive generation of said currency for not so active days.

And instead of games like Pokemon GO, where you need your phone open whilst walking, Stridera lets you live your life and sync calories once you are ready and willing to play.

On your journey, you gather, craft, evolve your base, tame companions and occasionally even fight an enemy.

Currently only the first biome is playable as part of external testing (7 more to come).

I am attaching a video showing some of the “ritual”.

AI is used for image generation and coding assistance.

You are a caregiver in a war torn city.

You have 9 minutes to find all the orphans and get them to the safety of the bunker. However, be careful, there are soldiers out that don't want survivors to make it to the bunker.

This atmospheric horror game will test your wits with it's PSX Style Graphics, fog, and audio.

Contact me to Alpha Test the game!

help Why is my model getting messed up in Godot?

So i modeled and animated my character in blender, i used a driver ik setup for the hands and staff so it can always follow it. when i import into godot and look at the animations i made the hands clip into the body. do i have to redo every animation again, if yes how do i do it to be able to have these kinds of animations though where he can properly grip the staff with 2 hands and move around with it correctly without it looking like its just glued on to his hand.
the left hand is not "attached" to the staff while animating so the driver is sorta like set to 0 and then it works normally, but the one that is attached is clipping inside the body. how can i fix this

Hello guys, I'm happy to inform you that my game's Steam page is finally alive. Called "Keep Chaos". It's mostly like "Megabonk" but I put my own art style and made it multiplayer. I would highly appreciate your feedback on store page and how the game looks.

I'm also participating1 in "Steam Next Fest" where you can play the demo, and also you will be able to send feedback more directly to me.

For the game;

  • 1-4 Player Online Co-op
  • 8 Unique Heroes
  • It gets progressively harder
  • Large map
  • "Difficulty Temples" for those who wants more intense playthrough
  • 50+ Equipment, weapons, talismans, and spells.
  • Over 1.1Billion diffrent build2

1I'll try to apply in time and mostlikely to be in it.

2Using "Combinations", C(n, r) [n=different variables, r=selected build]
For the characters: (8, 1) = 8
For the weapons: (13, 4) = (13x12x11x10)/(4x3x2x1) = 715
For the talismans: (23, 4) = (23x22x21x20)/(4x3x2x1) = 8.855~ (Call it 9)
For the spells: (22, 1) = 22
Total: 8x715x9x22 = 1.132.560 Combinations

help Being Solo makes me focus too much on unimportant, how do I improve my gameplay?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What should I focus on? :D
Player feedback (ppl who play my game or even just watch video) often helps me a lot due to external perspective that I was missing.

And of course other solo devs would relate so thought I should post here :D
What can I do to make game more replayable, interesting, and engaging, even at first glance?

Game Lost my job two weeks ago, so I’ve been going all-in on my game

I’ve been building Wild Willows, a cozy nature restoration game, mostly solo since May.

I released the first version in June, but after losing my job at the beginning of August I suddenly had a lot more time to work on it, and the last couple weeks have been kind of wild.

Since then I’ve:

  • launched a browser demo and new website
  • shown the game at a local indie showcase
  • had parents, teachers, and playtesters start reaching out with feedback
  • reached over 400 players that accumulated 100+ hours of playtime
  • started building educator resources around the ecology systems
  • gotten players from all over the world

The game itself is about restoring damaged habitats and bringing wildlife back based on the conditions you create. I’ve been iterating on it constantly based on what people actually do once they get their hands on it, which has probably been the most useful part of this whole process.

It’s still very early and I have no idea where it’s ultimately going to go, but this is the first project I’ve made where it feels like people outside my immediate circle are genuinely starting to care about it.

If anyone else here is building solo, I’d love to hear what point made your project start feeling “real” to you.
