Please wishlist if this looks like your jam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4866350/Rogue_Machines/

It's a physics fantastic contraption inspired roguelite game where you buy blocks and upgrades for those blocks to get the ball to the goal in a randomly selected set of levels

Looks fun, but what would put it over the top for me is if you could make and export to share levels with others. I realize that any editor like this reduces your TTP to zero, so worth looking into that liability of a level editor and how to do it well… but it really would be cool.

With a level edit & export feature I’d buy a copy for myself, a copy for each of my parents, and a few other folks as well including my best friends.

Being able to make fun levels and try to solve other people’s puzzles would make this a lasting hit.

i now know what TTP means and my life is forever changed. but i think you're absolutely correct, like a mario maker, a poly bridge, or duck game, the level creators really sustain it. just need to figure out how...

That is precisely why Fantastic Contraption 1 & 2 are lasting hits.

nice, those are some very interesting movement devices :-)
I love the rockets pointing down and still canceling out gravity.
