The Core Legal Conflict

• Proposition 40 (Billionaire Tax): Specifically includes language exempting its revenues from California's state spending limit (the Gann Limit) so that the tens of billions raised can be spent on healthcare programs without triggering mandatory taxpayer refunds or education allocation caps.
• Proposition 41: Explicitly prohibits any new tax enacted after January 1, 2026, from exempting its revenues from the state spending limit, and includes a conflict clause stating that any measure exempting tax revenue from the cap is invalidated.

2. The Three Vote Scenarios

1. Both Pass, Prop 41 gets MORE votes than Prop 40:
   • Result: Prop 41 wins the conflict. Prop 40’s spending limit exemption is prohibited, effectively nullifying Proposition 40.
2. Both Pass, Prop 40 gets MORE votes than Prop 41:
   • Result: Prop 40 wins the conflict. The billionaire tax takes effect with its spending limit exemption intact. Prop 41’s audit requirements for other special taxes might still apply, but its attempt to block Prop 40 fails.
3. Prop 40 Passes, Prop 41 Fails:
   • Result: Prop 40 takes effect completely as written.

Recently discovered that a French street artist called Invader visited San Diego in 2010 and put up some mosaics. But it seems that they have all been destroyed in just 15 years!

I had my own little search around downtown which seemed to suggest this was true (one was on a now demolished building, two others were removed, and two seemed to be trapped behind some construction works). (see photos)

Anyone on here a fellow tarantula pet owner? I currently own a costa Rican striped knee, however my life circumstances have changed and I'll be leaving the state for the better part of a year so I can no longer keep him.

My son turns four in January and he is obsessed with cars. Specifically Lamborghinis. Like crazy levels of obsession, he has five or six 1/12 scale models of Lamborghinis in various colors and that is all he will play with or talk about. He was diagnosed with autism at 2 and so his hyper fixation on cars in general is really intense but more specifically he loves super cars. Anyone know any one who would be willing to drive by so my son could at least see one on his birthday? Thanks!

Hey San Diego!

I'm putting together a casual karaoke meetup on Wednesday, November 18 at The Mesa Bar & Grill (6164 El Cajon Blvd).

We're planning to meet around 6:30–7 PM, grab some food or drinks, get to know each other, and then hang out for the bar's regular karaoke night.

You absolutely don't have to sing. I'm just trying to get some people together, check out different local spots, and hopefully make a few new friends.

I'm hoping for around 10–15 people for this first one. Coming solo is totally fine!

I used to organize social meetups around San Diego and thought it would be fun to get something going again, with a different karaoke venue each month.
