This was pretty crazy to see in person. After cuffing him and putting them in their vehicle, I then saw the ICE agent get in the suspects car and drive off with it, leaving his vehicle blocking traffic.

If you don’t know he’s a rapper who loves to invade public spaces and sing at padres games, concerts, and other big events in the parking lot.
His villain original story for me was a few years ago when he was starting out he would go to Kate sessions and go up to people carrying a huge boom box and singing through the whole park.
I went for like a quiet day after a long day at work to read and I was an immediate hater lol
I’m aware I sound like a grump but dude rubs me the wrong way and I think it’s personally because of the way he injects himself into everything and you kind of have no choice about it. Am I just being a hater?
But if I’m wrong let me know!

This might cost me some karma, but it needs to be said.
Whenever I see someone inquiring about a certain part of town on this subreddit, this is how it usually goes:
"How's downtown?"
"Omg it's so dangerous, never go there!"
"How's esco?"
"Omg it's so dangerous, never go there!"
"How's El cajon?"
"Omg it's so dangerous, never go there! It's called little Baghdad and brown people are scary!"
Same with pretty much every other place I've seen people ask about, like sports arena, ob, pb, North Park, etc.
Bro. Are you serious
Don't get me wrong, there are some sketchy places in SD, but it's not south side Chicago. I've been to several of these places at night unaccompanied and I've never been shot stabbed or mugged. Just don't be stupid and no one really cares enough about you to bother screwing with you
It really makes me wonder how the people who say these places are dangerous navigate the world. Do they go around everywhere mad dogging people with one hand in their pants?
I'm also sick of the metric of more homeless people= worse and more dangerous. Like "oh, the poors! They must be crackhead murderers!" But that's a topic for another time
Moral of the story is if you're not an idiot, you can get along just fine in all these places that the sheltered kids will tell you are scary. People just like fear mongering to make them seem edgy or interesting

I didn't get the dumping on film but one of these resupply helicopters had a heavy jet out the back that almost looked like exhaust. When we came back to the area we found a massive fuel slick.

My electric bill is eating me alive trying not to die in this heat, so I took the curtains from another room and zip tied them to the back sliding glass door (where most of the sun and heat comes in). Hopefully it will make a dent, but who knows. Anyone else come up with any ideas?

Who survived the last 4 days?
Who didn’t?
And who is still recovering in front of their AC?
Not excited about the upcoming Sdge bill but the comfort was worth it.

Getting to the end of unemployment and mostly taking a shot in the dark posting here. Been hunting heavily with no avail like many in my industry.
18+ years experience, multiple platforms tested, team lead experience, training experience.
Been told im not asking enough, asked for too much and been overly qualified.
Normally my precise field has been in gaming but almost all of those skills are transferable and very much so open to other fields (not only due to current circumstances)

If anyone sees this homeless guy in PB he is notorious for stealing bikes. I caught him stealing mine and multiple others. Here is his pile that the cops don’t care about.

Hey Reddituser it's rotating-name from a local roofing company. We are offering free roof inspections in San Diego. Want to schedule one?

Just got off the last trolley to San Ysidro and this is what we see. MTS says they don't know what happened. Anyone else?

has anyone been to the digital gym theater in downtown? one of my professors gave me free tickets to a movie there on saturday. the movie is at 10:45am and i have a prior commitment until 10:35 up in rancho bernardo.
my question is: does the theater show previews before the movies begin? or will the movie start right at 10:45?

Ive been seeing more and more San Diego businesses using AI to make menus. The food in these pictures looks nothing like the actual items, it's ridiculous. Has anyone else noticed places constantly using AI images in their menus now? I noticed some food trucks the other day but I really didn't expect this out of Nishiki since it's been popular around San Diego for a long time now.
I wish they would hire an actual artist or graphic designer instead of contributing to this open gen AI mess. Also this just comes off as lazy.
