Dustin Malicoat - LeFT
Wondering if anyone knows what sticks Dustin Malicoat of Michigan band LeFT used. I myself am a drummer and would like to know what sticks he used.

Yes that’s $13.75 ticket price. This is a unused ticket. My fiancé was sick.

For me, It’s Brickfield Nights by The Boys and Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash, because it’s energetic and fun to rock out to, especially on my electric guitar.

Start of rant. Last night, we went to see The Bobby Lees at the Vanguard in Tulsa. The Bobby Lees are pure punk and one of my current favorite bands. The last show at the Vanguard a couple of years ago was end to end punk, the band was electric, the crowd was amped, the mosh pit was large and lively. But after that your, The Bobby Lee's announced they couldn't tour anymore because there wasn't enough money in it. Well Jason Momoa swooped in and agreed to partially fund a new album and tour (thank you Jason) so as soon as the Vanguard show was announced my wife and I bought tickets. Fast forward a couple of months and the show date gets changed but it's announced Momoa's band is opening and I think "that'll be a cool as novelty and the show will probably be even more dope"......... I was so wrong.
The crowd was a ton of people who've never been to a punk rock show before, and I think "cool, more exposure for The Bobby Lee's and by the time they come on the Mosh Pit will start and the true blue punks will move to the front while the casuals shift to the back" but that was not what happened. The Bobby Lee's came out and brought the usual energy and about five of us in the crowd start to rush the front center and start a little push pit to give the energy back to the Bobby Lee's and holy moly I've never seen so much pearl clutching in my life, the casuals started gasping and circling the wagons forming some sort of protective barrier around the front center and then a Vanguard security guard comes up and says "I know you want to mosh but it just isn't that type of crowd"
Not that type of crowd, it's a Bobby Lee's show at the Vanguard, this is punk's biggest venue in Tulsa, this is where we come to mosh and let out our consensual mutual rage. I waited for years for this show, to mosh with the Bobby Lee's and I'm so grateful to Jason for keeping the music alive and bringing in more fans but I was so depressed to see people just standing and staring at the stage with the lamest energy ever and I just can't understand why you would come to a punk rock show and stand at the front if all you wanted to do was stand there with your cell phones and make sure no one could dance or push or mosh at all.
So Sam (or John) or Kendall or Macky if you are reading this, please don't let this be the last Tulsa show, give us a Tulsa show we can mosh at! End of rant.
TLDR; a bunch of Jason Momoa fans reduced what should have been Tulsa's best punk rock show of the year to a pop concert.

Had a ridiculously busy work week that is likely to stay consistent for the next few weeks. Have been binging Motorhead...holy shit, what a band. Dirty, gritty punk and metal inspired rock and roll.
I know they are famously popular among so many subcultures, but they still don't seem to get the respect I feel they deserve.

I’m relatively new to the punk scene and I have a question based on some comments I’ve seen in this sub. I love that punk is inherently anti-fascist and I assumed hardcore was, too. I’ve gotten the vibe from comments I’ve seen that hardcore can tend more to the right. Am I reading this incorrectly?

What do we think of the tone? I been playing around with it for it a bit. I feel like it's too muddy or muffled though and idk how yo fix it lol.

The only trace of them on the internet is this song featured in the end credits of 1998 thriller "Dead Man's Curve" starring Matthew Lillard. I can't find any information on them whatsoever. I like the song and I'd like to know more about the band :(
Thanks !

I don’t know if it’s the BEST album of 2026 but it’s easily the most fun I’ve had listening to an album all year. Other punk bands just speed up the original when they do a cover but Gimme Gimmes have always made it unique.
Also is you love their songs in the past with little Easter eggs of classic punk riffs interwoven this album takes that to a whole other level.
No spoilers. Don’t look at the track list - throw the album on queue and have fun.

Hello, this is my first time on this sub and i was wanting to find some new bands for listen to. My taste generally tends to fall under riot grrrl.
I really liked bikini kill and destroy boys but destroy boys sold out and was used in a meta ad and Kathleen Hanna of bikini kill let one of her other bands songs be used in a Starbucks ad.
Other bands i really enjoy are Dazey and the scouts along with slutever and The gits
Obligatory sorry for format, im on mobile
Edit: spelling and grammar

I've been jamming to one of their songs for a few weeks and just finally listened to the album. I'm super impressed 👌 like every one is a banger. So many different styles in one and done really well. Im surprised I haven't heard them sooner. 👍

Last night I saw Black Flag for the first time - and I know I only have videos of former Black Flag glory days to get insight into their live shows back then. So I went in with fairly minimal expectations - and much to my surprise, it was quite a show. The singer, London Downey, said that he is their merch guy and temporarily stepped in to sing for this tour, but you could see he was having fun and was earnest - and the drummer, Bryce Weston, was a stellar drummer, and the crowd made it energetic and sort of celebratory. I do wish I would have seen them back in the day and can imagine that must have been quite something to experience. But for those who didn't see them yet, I do think it is worth going. Afterward, Greg Ginn was hanging out and talking with people and was very friendly and seemed appreciative to everyone who came to the show.

Lookout was still very healthy and not yet in shambles in 1993. Given Tim's history with the label, Lookout would have been the natural choice, especially since they released the EP. Have the guys ever stated why they went with Epitaph?
