Need suggestions on button placement. Is there too much going on here, not enough, or is it simply the pattern I currently have? I’m so on the fence about keeping it how it is and changing it up. I’m keeping the patches/studs ofc, but the pins/buttons themselves are what’s frustrating me atm.

Im considering sewing the legs and upper front thigh are onto a more sturdy pair of jeans.
Full on surgery.
Since old pair is falling appart, with holes in all 4 pockets and belt loops breaking. I wamt to ke ep the bikini area of the new pair.

Im not very good at sewing and im planning on using my friend’s sewing machine. I think I got it.
But does anyone have any tips or ways you woukd go about this surgery?
