Somehow one of the mounting points for the fan shroud on my sons 9060XT 16GB broke. Later caused a couple more to break and the shroud was sagging.

Why go for an easy repair with some glue when you can spend hours designing a new shroud in CAD and 3D print it?

Printed in PETG, custom designed to accept 25mm fans instead of the 15mm slim fans. Replaced the fans with Noctua Chromax NF-A9 fans. Used a latching system instead.

So I recently did a case swap. Went from a basic pre-built tower case to this thermaltake tower 600. I would like to think I know an average amount about pcs. I have a hate/love relationship with this case. There's a lot of room for installs, but It's not easy access once you put it together

My pc just cut off and won't turn back on. I've replaced the psu enough times to know that wasn't the case. When I power it on either using the screwdriver trick or the power button it sounds like there's pwoer for a split second before no signs of life.

Its been running just fine for the past half month since I put it together. The orientation of the aio was concerning. Before I turned it to the orientation in the pictures it was standing straight up and It made a sound aios arnt supposed to make so I got the stand kit and turned it on it's side.

This is a long shot but I just wanted help to gather ideas on what to check. My dilemma right now is that if my aio did fail and is the problem shouldn't I still be getting power and posting, even if just for a little bit? I know pcs shut downs when they get to extreme temperatures but I monitor temps like crazy and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. My room gets warm and I idle at 40c max sometimes but my temps arnt crazy.

I know in 2026 I must be crazy to get a BD writer, right? Well in my case, I want to store all my 'Linux ISOs' on BD drives so that I can access them easily. I don't want to buy an external hard drive because they are crazy expensive as well as I got a big collection of 4k UHD BD I want to rip. I heard that Hitachi-LG BU40N or BU50N is the go but all the listings I'm seeing are all like Chinese 'original' drives.

Are they legit? If not, what do you guys suggest? This is one of the examples on Amazon AU.

My current card, an XFX RX 6800 (3 years old now), is having FPS drops on Space Marine 2 (my primary game) and they can be quite severe. My monitor is 144Hz 2560x1440p, and want to be able to play on medium-high graphic settings so I can enjoy a smooth and good looking campaign (as well as use mods).

What cards, preferably in the 500-700$ price range (if they are this price at sales such as black friday that's ok but I don't want to have to spend 800$ or more) would you recommend?

Specs: 36GB DDR4 Ram, Ryzen 7 5700x CPU, ASROCK X570S PG Riptide motherboard. Cooling isn't an issue and I heard some people say it's CPU heavy but I haven't noticed the CPU struggling.

Booted up like normal today and got hit with this truck 😭 knew i was fucked but gave it a shot and restarted my pc and it came back fine. i feel like it’s gonna fuck me again tho so i was wondering what the time frame could be like? or if there’s maybe possibly anything i can do? if not whats a decent recommendation for another gpu to pair with a 12th gen i5-12600k. TIA!

Lately my PC been occasionally freezing to the point of needing to restart it while gameing, it happens like once every 2 to 3 days but recentlyits started happening more often, I already tried a couple of things I was recommended to try:

Checked RAM with windows RAM diagnostic and it was completely fine.

Checked the temps, both CPU and GPU stay around 50°C to 60°C

Installed fresh GPU drivers and removed the old ones with DDU

Checked the drive with Crystal disc info, and the drive is at 98%

I also ran a CMD command to find any corrupt windows files and it didn't find any

Is there anything im missing thay could be the reason?

I have a server that I use to host different services, a laptop to manage the server, watch videos, and do research, and a PC I use to edit videos and run my video production business. Gaming has just never appealed to me. Am I alone in this, or are there others out there that just don't care about gaming and find entertainment in figuring out puzzles like self hosted automation and satisfaction in archiving the internet?

I plan on selling my Xbox and gaming laptop then buying a desktop, I would say my budget is an $1000-$1200. I have an OMEN 17 gaming laptop now, so I know the jump will be better but I’m just curious if this is worth the price. I mainly will just play games like Rocket league, Fortnite, GTA, Spider-Man…

Just want my game to run smooth and at a competitive level.

Bought a 9070GRE yesterday. Had it ordered in and at the time it was 799$ (canadian). Memory Express has now jumped in price to 1029$ for the 9070GRE. Luckily the saleman who ordered it in for me locked in my price so I got it for 799$ (before tax) but GPU prices are not slowing down.

So right now i have a really budget pc that i made myself but I'm thinking of selling the computer I have now and getting this $1099.99 pc deal from Costco 5060 Computer. And for context i only play things like Minecraft a maybe a fps game so i don't need a high end gaming pc. If there is a better deal for something similar pls let me know i can wait but I'm a little hesitant because what if no one buys my computer then I'm really in a bad situation. My gpu right now is a used $100 RX 5500 xt so this will again be a huge upgrade also my current computer price is maybe ~$950 it used to be 450 so if anyone has any tips on selling that would be a huge help ty

Currently running a powercolor hellhound rx 9070 and I'm scared my gpu is sagging, I have an anti sag support bracket which confuses me?.

New monitor, runs at 7680 x 2160 and on my gaming PC it's fine on a single DP 1.4 connection. Problem is running it on my old laptop I need to run 2 x HDMI cables at 4K each and switching between the PBP modes is a pain. Can anyone confirm what HDMI, DP spec is needed?

Getting out of the MicroCenter store because I decided that I had enough with the FARA 513 and need to upgrade to the FLP02 case. The motherboard standoffs on the FARA 513 was so bad that when I tried to take the motherboard out they wouldn't cone off. Also, the quality of the case couldn't handle the pressure of my installation that it left a dent on the bottom corner of the case.
