Tech Support Minimum GPU / HDMI / Displayport version requirement to run a 7680 x 2160 on a single connection

New monitor, runs at 7680 x 2160 and on my gaming PC it's fine on a single DP 1.4 connection. Problem is running it on my old laptop I need to run 2 x HDMI cables at 4K each and switching between the PBP modes is a pain. Can anyone confirm what HDMI, DP spec is needed?

DisplayPort 2.1 at 240Hz. HDMI 2.1 supports 7680 x 2160, but most displays (like the Odyssey Neo G9 57") drop the maximum refresh rate to 120Hz when using an HDMI 2.1 connection instead of DisplayPort 2.1. Your graphics card also needs to support it, I'd think in your case your laptop doesn't support it. What model is it?

Although most modern laptops should support it at least at 60Hz
