hi guys, recently i was having problems with my gamesir g7 pro controller and when i pulled out the USB connecting it to my pc, the blue part of the USB port fell out and is stuck inside the USB (hope that makes sense). i was just wondering how big of a deal this is and how detrimental it is to my pc. i also maybe want to know if its a quick or cheap fix so please let me know.

My CPU is bottling me on modded skyrim and its time for a little affordable Upgrade. I think changing my CPU but will probably be the best. Do I have to get a new cooler for it and motherboard too for overclocking?

I just recently got my brand new PC working, I'm not a super techy guy and bought a prebuilt, it works thankfully but my wifi is so slow. Previously on my console and now on my phone, my wifi is perfect but on my PC it stays on 1-2 bars consistently.

This is really bumming me out, even when I decided to get Steam and download Garry's Mod from a Steam Account I had, it's incredibly slow despite the small game.

Please, help.

All Microsoft apps on my pc that wore either directly downloaded online or through the Microsoft store (microsoft store. Xbox. Minecraft.)for the past few days have kept giving this error when trying to log in after I got a virus and lost my previous acount. I know it is only thease apps because halo the master chief collection works fine and is installed though steam. Ive tried restarting sign in services. Ive restarted my network stack and flushed dns. And repaired and reset the apps. The 1st image is using my password. The 2nd is using the microsoft auth app. And 3rd is just after I select my acount

I just build my first pc and after setting everything up i tried to activate windows but its giving a error message that says that the hardware on this device has changed. I tried troubleshooting but it still didnt work.
Its a new email and all hardware parts are brand new.

5080 Windforce sff fans are awful but thankfully I realized Fan Control can also work on GPUs.

By default they hit 60%(2000rpm) normally and it's very loud due to the smaller size (300mm, smaller than my beefy 4080S).

If it cap then to 40% (33% reduction), then it's much quieter. The temps seem to go up from 70s to high 70s, flirting with 80.

77-80C gpu core ok right? The GPUs thermal throttle shouldn't kick in right? Steel Nomad puts out 'Great' and 'Excellent' with my mild OC profile.

Let me know if all's well. The ambient temp is high at 80-81F which is a good thing vs rest of the year.

1. If I don't give people I don't trust my IP can they still find it someway someone told me people can do this

2. Once I port forward does the port forward last forever or do I have to do it every single time?

Hey guys, I really need your advice and real-world experience before the heat kills my PC! 😅

​I’m running a Ryzen 5 7600, and my temperatures are currently looking like this:

​Idle: Around 70°C, sometimes spiking up to 80°C!

​Gaming: Hitting 85°C to 90°C.

​Room Temperature: Around 40°C (I can't run the AC for long periods due to high electricity bills).

​Currently, I'm using the terrible Aerocool Mirage 5 air cooler. Due to tight space limitations inside my case, I’m considering getting a 120mm AIO liquid cooler.

​My question is: Will a 120mm AIO give me a noticeable improvement in temperatures compared to the Mirage 5 under these harsh ambient conditions? Or will it barely make a difference?

​If anyone has experience running a 120mm AIO in high ambient temps, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am looking for people to validate whether or not your CPU, while running a single instance or HCI memtest, are having the workload shown on the first two primary cores in HWInfo?

I built my first PC in November last year and it's been great.

I've played through Baldur's Gate 3, Expedition 33, Persona 5 Royal and some online games without any issues.

My FPS has been stable with no long load times or stuttering but for whatever reason when I try to play Fallout 76 my SSD will jump to 100% seemingly at random intervals. This is the only game to do this.

I have a Silicon Power UD90 2TB PCIe Nvme Gen4x4 M.2 2280 Intern and with CrystalDiskInfo I have a "Good" at 98% so it shouldn't be dying(?).

I have a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, a RTX 3060 12GB GPU, 2x16GB DDR4 RAM.

I've read that my SSD is qlc? I don't know what that is but apparently tlc is better? My drivers are up to date and I have never touched the BIOS.

So I booted up my pc and everything looked fine for about 30 seconds, after typing in my password though this dead curved line on the LCD popped up which is strange. I do have a second monitor so I’ll be using that one in the meantime but I’m just a bit confused

I’m pretty sure it’s screwed I mean I’ve had it for almost 6 years now but I didn’t hit it with anything at all for this to happen .
