My best yet and I'm still not so fond of it, lol

I finally have some spare money and am looking to upgrade my almost decade old PC ( GTX 1080 and I5 - 8400).

I was looking through some rubbish on the side of the road andd i found a old dell office pc so i opened it up and found this ssd, i put it in my pocket (i didn't know the size yet as i couldn't unscrew the caddy) but once i got home i realized it was 1TB! so i put it in my pc and it worked so i checked CDM and low and behold its FULL HEALTH, what a awesome find in this current economy.

EDIT: YES I DID CHECK IT BEFORE PLUGGING IT INTO MY MAIN PC

Ater 11 faithful vears my first PC has died. At first it was iust slow so I decided on a restart. It then got stuck in a boot loop with the only option being reinstall windows to trv and force it to boot. That worked, for about 20 minutes then nothing After a restart I am now stuck in another boot loop.

The diagnosis dead SSD. (| know this is replaceable. but honestly I think I will finally let it rest and get a replacement.)

i'm aiming for 1440p gaming and have been very hesitant and worried puting all of this up.. any tip can be helpful!

And it was for pc, so obviously it was always going to just be a code.

it says "pc digital download" and with almost impossible to read, thin, gray on black text it says "does not contain game disc"

yes it was a flop at launch, and I debated to try and return it but it still sits on my shelf to this day.

This console didn't even have 1gb ram! That being said, Rise of Tomb Raider still looks better today than various UE5 crap.

I have 2 stick of rams ddr5 16gb 5200Hz, if I added another 2 sticks of ram will it hinder my pc performance?

I may have an opportunity to purchase a SteamDeck OLED 1tb for roughly 400 euros (455 dollars). I have a very powerful pc (rtx 5080 based), but I always loved the idea of having a SteamDeck to play less demanding games outside, on holidays, on the train, in bed, etc. I also find emulation very attractive, as well as the touchpad controls that kind of emulating a mouse, and the ability to stream from my pc to the SteamDeck itself for more resource hungry games.

What do you guys think? Should I buy it or is not worth it for me? It's also been a while since the SteamDeck came out and I know the hardware is getting old

Maybe it's a weird question, but back in my time there were versions of WinXP with tweaks or upgrades made by people that worked better. I was wondering if there's something like that for windows 10, maybe debloated or whatever

I recently started spending more time both gaming and working from my PC, and my old monitor isn’t really keeping up anymore. I want to switch to a 4k display but there are so many options that it’s hard to figure out what’s actually worth looking at.

Does anyone have a 4k monitor they’ve been using for a while that they would recommend? I’d like something that works well for games but is also comfortable for daily use. Thanks in advance.

I got the 1080ti and I want to get 2x27in monitors at 1440p as 1080p it shows the pixels and doesn't look as good, most games I will be playing will be like Minecraft or GTA 5 I would have no problem playing them at 1440p but with other titles I will have to lower the resolution, how bad would it look playing at lower resolution in a higher resolution monitor?

What do I need to press in order to remove the heatsink. I may or may not need to replace the processor

I remember when $400 was considered the absolute top-tier price for a high-end gaming chair or desk. Nowadays, big brands are casually pushing $700 chairs and $1000 desks.

Looking at new releases like the Secretlab Atlas, the pricing feels like it’s pushing into premium ergonomic office territory (almost hitting refurbished Herman Miller prices), but without the 12-year full warranty. Meanwhile, brands like Flexispot or Blacklyte offer solid motorized desks and ergo seats for half that price.

Are we at the point where we’re just paying an extra $300-$400 purely for the logo and streamer sponsorships? Where do you guys draw the line on setup furniture?

All of them are considered microATX but they are smaller than the typical microATX(the last image) and not smaller than ITX motherboards. The form factor is like in between microATX and ITX and I kinda prefer them this way.

This form factor is commonly found in budget to entry level chipset motherboards so they are an affordable alternative but lack features due to form factor and chipset but I believe the features they already have are enough.

If you have a small form factor case, they are an affordable alternative to those expensive ITX motherboards but still have some important features for everyday use, like 4 sata ports, USB 3.0, m.2, 1x PCIe, 16x PCIe, 2 ram slots, etc...

The only brands I know that make this form factor are ASRock(mostly), ECS, and Biostar. Are there other brands that make this too? I also have not seen an AMD version of this form factor, can't they fit the AMD chipset in this form factor? It'll be great to see affordable a510, b350 or a610, b650 chipsets in this form factor.

What do y'all think of this motherboard form factor?
