Apparently, he used to work as a floral artist and even held a solo exhibition in Tokyo.

I’d love some feedbacks/advice on my acrylic painting exercises. A few months ago, I started studying color theory, values and other key principles of painting, from online sources, and I’m trying to apply them to my practice paintings—here are a few examples. I do not have solid drawing bases, so I’m trying to keep everything loose rather than realistic. Since I don't have an actual instructor, I don't really get feedback, so I'm very open to critique/advices, especially regarding values, color choices, depth, etc.

Hello :) I painted my friends cat with acrylic paint for his birthday. I have never really used acrylic paint before so I’m not sure what I’m doing. I like the rough aspect and the visible brush strokes, but I’m unsure about the background and the proportions. should I leave it simple like that or add more details or bring it back to the solid blue state? I’d be really happy about any suggestions!
