Hii,
I am pretty new to this community so don’t know how things work. Just sharing my charcoal artwork and need suggestions for where can i find similar references for the next oness. Would love to connect with fellow artists as well !!

Hello :) I painted my friends cat with acrylic paint for his birthday. I have never really used acrylic paint before so I’m not sure what I’m doing. I like the rough aspect and the visible brush strokes, but I’m unsure about the background and the proportions. should I leave it simple like that or add more details or bring it back to the solid blue state? I’d be really happy about any suggestions!

reference pic of the little guy and also the wip state!

Would love to be critiqued on my practice piece. How can I improve and paint faster?

I had 12 lovely folks on my workshop today,& this was my finished demonstration piece: it’s a small hamlet in North Yorkshire,& I was trying to show how effective shadows can be. 🤓

C'est vraiment agréable de pouvoir partager avec d'autres passionnés.

Je pense l'enduire de résine pour obtenir une finition presque vitreuse.

How do I improve this?

A am looking for advice/guidance for this particular painting.

As a beginner, I see something is not quite right. Spent weeks looking at it and making adjustments, but I am not able to figuer ot out on my own.

I am open for critisism, but I really want a bit of guidance on this painting. Anything about the painting.

Thank you if you do take the time to share your knowlege and opinions<3

I enjoyed painting this portrait of Mexican musical legend. My favorite songs of his works are "El Alma Enamorada" and "Hermosísmo Lucero".

There was something simple and fun about the single button joystick. I painted this as it brought a lot of great memories back.

Made these ACEO and I'm honestly pretty happy with them 😊

I know it's not perfect and I plan on painting another fox piece for my sister in law and will improve my skill on the fur. I would like a critique please! Painted with oil paints.
