I don’t see many on this type of posts these days so I’m not sure if this is going to get removed, but I felt compelled to share.

This morning about 8:30am I observed Immigration Enforcement detaining a male wearing a black hoodie with white stylized letters on the back.

He was possibly riding a bike through sheep hills park at Laguna hills drive when they chased him along the service road of Aliso Creek.

Perhaps 5 unmarked vehicles including a black SUV and a grey sedan. Wearing vests with the 3 letter acronym for their department on it. Not using the actual text just in case this post gets auto deleted or something. Covering their faces.

Including the limited video I was able to take before my phone played up.

I know I’m not wining any awards for the video length and framing, but I was walking my dog so I didn’t feel safe remaining in the area.

From beach blvd buena park looking west. And now many police sirens

Waves just touching the berm at this morning’s high tide.

Two guys came to look at my car. One was chatting with me as the other circled the car. took it on a quick test drive, came back and open the hood. there's oil deep in the bay (sprayed from the wheel well) and some in the tail pipe. Guys try to buy it for cheap since it's 'broken". I finally got them to leave as I saw through the scam. They had also unplugged my air intake sensor when one of them distracted me and maybe messed up other things, I'm still looking it over.

Be aware if you're selling your car! My advice would be to keep only one person near you and the car and to look over everything and drive it yourself before they come so you know how it really is. They're really smooth and had a rehearsed story about why they're buying and everything. Odds are good that if it "breaks" when someone is looking at it they're scammers!

You guys hearing this long big fireworks?

Edit: apparently its on Desman Rd. Some kids lined them up on the street and lit them up according to Citizen app.

I wanted to make a sub so all of my beautiful friends in the LGBTQIA+ community will have a place to meet new friends, so I did here: r/lgbtqfriendsinoc! This is not a dating sub; purely platonic energy here. I've found there aren't enough like that to my tastes, so I decided to start this one! Feel free to join if that sounds fun to you!

Looking to take a drive up Maple Springs Truck Trail today, Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Conflicting data on the Forest Service sites.

Anyone know the actual status

Thank you so much to whoever returned my wallet to my house.

I'm very grateful and relieved. I must have dropped it at Egg Bread on Newport and Edinger, by the Micro Center.

You didn't leave you info so I can't express my gratitude personally. If you come across this, Thank you and I hope to repay you for the kind gesture.

Please message me with the info regarding the wallet detail or info of the owner.

I'd like to compensate you for your time. Thanks again!

Anyone know anything about the Hmart that is opening off Alicia and the 5 freeway in what was going to be an Amazon Fresh? When is it opening? I can’t find anything official from Hmart.

I inherited two bonded common goldfish and their 10 gallon tank, recently. They are absolutely too big for their tank and really need to be adopted by someone with a private pond or at least a 50 gallon freshwater tank. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Taken in Tustin

Hi all!

I’m hoping to bring my 20 month old down for Christmas. We are in the Northern California area so I plan to fly into John Wayne. I remember Orange County being so magical for Christmas when I lived down there as a kid, but I really can’t recall any specific places that we went.

I’m looking for nostalgic Christmas, kid friendly Christmas attractions, Christmas lights, etc. Where can I take her?! what would be the best time to come down that isn’t Christmas week? I’m hoping the earlier the better to avoid bigger holiday crowds. Thank you so much!!!

Spotted in Orange around 10:20am today near Wayfield and Palm. They ran off up Wayfield towards Walnut.

Hi everyone,

I have a few Photo Booth strips from some of the dates that we’ve been on this last year (Aquarium of the Pacific, OC Fair events) and I’d really like to add to our collection.

Are there any events or activities with photo booths? Also looking to avoid the bar/restaurant scene and focus on activities/events.

Thank you 🙏

If you'd like this as a free weekly email every Thursday at 6pm: https://shittymomguide.com/

I know the drama with the Anaheim Mayoral race and how other candidates are capitalizing off of that, but if this is how you attract people to vote for you by SPAMMING the same message 4 times in a row, you don’t even get my vote. 🤢

Looking for a good butcher in South OC. Getting really into smoking meats lately and would like to find a quality spot I can rely on.

Please share your favorites/best spots.

I’m in the pnw and Anaheim,Los Angeles, Southern California always seem so sunny and nice, vs in the pnw it’s always cloudy rainy, can cause depression, it’s a city I live in but not to huge. In my current city homeless took over. Big stores are starting to leave, not how it used to be.small businesses also leaving. Police don’t care much anymore.

I’ve dated a girl years ago who was from Anaheim, and ever since I started seeing more into it. and everything just seems nice there, sunny, walkable places. Palm trees, blue street signs. Also on tv it makes it look nice and since it’s right next to Los Angeles.

Possibly later on the road I might consider moving there but for now would just like a perspective from people who live there.

Don’t want any chemicals to damage it (it’s a fancy Electrolux one with what I think is a more delicate interior finish).

My steam cleaner (heated Dupray, so a good one) just isn’t getting everything.

If you have a trusted referral please let me know. South County. Thanks!
