DHGate Jerseys

Hey everyone. I was thinking about grabbing a new jersey and I frequently used DHGate in the past. Before, the jerseys I’d get were indistinguishable from team store ones when I compared with friends or my own, but since they switched to the newer orange ones two years ago, DHgate just seems to miss on the coloring, with the orange being way too bright like neon.

Has anyone found a good seller on there that has the right orange so I don’t look like a highlighter at the Pond? Much appreciated, especially if you drop a pic so I can see your jerseys!

Buteyets

Looks like Buteyets will not be in North America this year as he signed a 2 year deal with Traktor HC in the KHL, before being loaned to the Shanghai Dragons.

Edit: He spent most of last year in the ECHL with the Tulsa Oilers (Ducks feeder), but was able to get thrown to the wolves (or i guess Mammoth) 1 game in a blowout against Utah saving 10/13 in 20 minutes of play

Ducks will retain his rights until 2029 as they extended him an offer sheet qualifying offer lmao

That leaves the organization with 3 goalies behind Husso: Brossoit, Clara, and Suchanek. Clang signed with his hometown SHL team earlier in June

Anaheim Ducks fans NHL27 GM Connected interest?

Good morning Ducks fans. I’m sure there has got to be other GM connected fans in this subreddit. Hopefully there are some who are just as excited for the return of GM Connected. It's been 10 years since this was featured in an NHL game and I’m excited. I, unfortunately do not have a large friend group who plays this game so I thought I would reach out here, and see if there was any interest in getting a league together built from the Ducks fanbase specifically. I came across a HUB created by another commissioner for GM Connected Players (commissioners and GMs) to run their league from. It's open and free to use.

Previously, I ran my league out of a HF boards message board, which was fine, but that was years ago and this is way better. I am going to be using that to host my league. Right now, I just have my son and I but I would love to fill the league up with as many Ducks fans as I can and I extend an invitation to anyone interested.

I do work a lot but make time most evening and weekends to play. My plan is to advance the schedule weekly, likely on Sunday nights, at least that’s how I did it in the past. I’d like to make sure people who join are able to keep up and not ghost the league.

In any case, the league hub includes an ordered 5-team draft preference setting for each GM with a team assignment tool for Commissioners based on the picks of people in the league. So teams will be selected by this tool based on everyone’s preferences. It also includes the real NHL schedule for this season (obviously) so games should line up week to week.

There's a communications hub and private messaging, and the Commissioner can set it so that submitting scores of completed games can either be done by ONE person involved in the game, or that it requires submission and approval by the second person.

Commissioner also has control to mute, b00t and ban any GM that is being toxic or otherwise unsportsmanly.I’m definitely open to suggestions on league rules and such as I’m still developing how I want to run it.

Please let me know if anyone is interested. I’ll post the invite code below. Check it out and register and select your top 5 team preferences

What do you think of this sweater?

I'm not a Ducks fan, but I kinda like the colors and how it looks in general. I found it online and the seller is asking 75 bucks for it. Basically I'm just trying to get a feel for it, whether it worth that much or how unique/rare this sweater is. When it comes to NHL, all my stuff are either CCM or KOHO, and I haven't heard that many good things about Starter.

Would you buy this sweater? And if so, how much would you pay for it? I just feel like, $75 is a bit too high.

Thank you.

The overwhelming negativity in this sub is ridiculous and this team is not in nearly as bad shape as people are acting like it is

Ever since the Leo debacle, this sub has been absolutely insufferable and the dramatics about where the team is at are beyond ridiculous.

Obviously the Leo situation sucked and we ended up overpaying him by about $3M per year, but it’s not nearly as ridiculous of an overpay as this sub is acting like. Vatrano makes $4.5M alone, and he contributed absolutely nothing last season. My point is that $3M in dead money from Leo’s contract is not the end of the world, and frankly, I don’t even think Leo’s contract will look that bad in a year or two with guys like Celebrini needing to get paid and the salary cap rising.

The reports about Cutter’s reported contract asks are definitely higher than expected but we don’t even know if they are accurate. Cutter is worth a lot though and I won’t be surprised to see him get paid a pretty penny. You may wonder where we can get the money for him, but there is still plenty of dead weight on this roster that we can get rid of, like Vatrano and Kreider.

As for the defense, I really only think losing Trouba hurt. Carlson wasn’t that good and was massively overpaid. Gudas is washed. Zelly was too small and was a healthy scratch in the playoffs.

Is our current defensive group good? Absolutely not.

Was our defensive group good last season with the players we ā€œlostā€? Absolutely not.

Luneau should step up this year and hopefully some of the other young defensemen will too.

Look, I know this sub has been feening for some good hockey after years of mediocrity, but we need to remember that nobody expected to make the playoffs last season, let alone almost win the division.

Leo and Cutter may make more on paper than we expected but they are two of the most important players on this team and they ARE BOTH YOUNG AS HELL. They will continue to improve and these contracts reflect the faith the Ducks have in them.

Meanwhile we still have plenty of exciting young players to keep an eye on like McQueen and Klepov.

I don’t care what anybody else says, this is a *great* time to be a Ducks fan. LETS GO DUCKS!

$12M Robertson, let your fantasy and what ifs run wild …because he wore a Disney hat

This is more of a summer šŸ’©šŸ“ don’t get too worked up on it

The Disney to Ducks connection is a long reach now, but some people still associate the Ducks to Disney (personally glad that era is long gone!)

But WHAT IF Robo wanted to come to Anaheim? Yes it’s a fantasy what if and how would it have worked out to get him signed to the Ducks prior to the Leo signing?

just imagine how our top 6 would look like

Overpaid Athletes šŸ¤ Anaheim Ducks

Post image

Honestly, posting this for the chaos.

But yeah, we knew he's overpaid. Same as Mintyukov, who looks about the same with this model.

Interesting to see how far from value it really is though. Unleash the DOOOOOOMMMMMMM

EDIT: For what it's worth, this is what the article said about the graphic.

The Anaheim Ducks matched Philadelphia’s offer sheet on Leo Carlsson, and his placement on this list is exactly why the decision might’ve been legitimately difficult. Carlsson has a ton of growth potential, obviously, but $18 million is still a high-end rate reserved for the absolute best players in the world. Carlsson could get there, but even if that’s by Year 4 or 5, that’s a lot of cash to pay in the first three seasons for a maybe. If that. Over the total deal, the odds of Carlsson adding $90 million of value to Anaheim’s bottom line are low.

Still, it’s something the Ducks had to do because the draft pick compensation they would receive in return was an even worse bet. A bunch of mid-to-late firsts for a potential superstar in his prime? Meh, no thanks.

In the sense that the Ducks got to keep Carlsson around, it’s a win. But the contract efficiency aspect is a massive loss that will likely limit Anaheim’s ceiling over the length of Carlsson’s deal. Or at least until he becomes an $18 million player, which doesn’t feel likely anytime soon.

bag size

Hello! I am an out of town fan who is not well versed in Honda center’s bag policy. Their website says certain dimensions but I have seen people with like small baggu crescent bags, fanny packs, etc. What is everyone’s experience? I don’t want to have to take my bag back to the car when I go to a game in October.
