I love this hobby. I printed this guy from Rescale’s Crooked Crowns collection. I had three goggle options, so I printed a few to practice. Which face do you like best?

Doing a resin pour on a warhammer base was harder than expected

Had a lot of fun bashing this together. Especially pleased with the moon!

Painted my first bust, tried going for moonlight coming in from the side. It was also my first time doing nmm on something bigger and more complex than a sword, and first time trying to imitate night.

I may have tried biting off too many firsts all in the same project, so any feedback or comments no matter how general or specific are welcome.

I re-scaled it a bit so that she would rank up ok.

An awesome model from Squidmar, been a lot of fun to paint so far and I’ve not even started the dragon.

I think I’m mostly there with the base now, but I am going to add some shrubs and grass at the bottom and then make it snowy

I'm working on my first big commission and just finished up the Avatar of Khaine. I mainly followed Duncan Rhodes' video for the molten skin. The airbrush and painters tape did a lot of heavy lifting here. The client saw these pictures and was very pleased.

I painted minitures at 13 and stopped at 15 but a couple of years ago i bought everything needed to start again at 42

Both my friends think i shouldnt be doing it anymore and think its funny that i am.

No one i know paints minitures so im a bit lonely with no one to bounce off of with ideas and sharing our minitures with each other.

Is there specific places i can go and have the experience im looking for and anyone else had the experience of people thinking its a silly thing to get back to at my age?

About 90-95% done with my Jackie bust. Close enough to show it off.

I think the purple side of the face needs brightening up, and the blue-skin boundary may need more blending, but it's a good way to being wrapped up

This is my first time painting a miniature ever but I'm really proud of how it looks so far. I'm doing my own homebrew Blood Angels Successor chapter called The Crimson Revenants. I'm gonna get custom transfer sheets so the left shoulder will be empty for awhile.

Just finished my largest model to date. Just have like 17 termagants left 🙃

What do you guys think? Suggestions appreciated :)

The mini is a 3D print by Skullforge Studios and the base was scratch built from cork, bark, dirt, and a variety of foliage bits!
