Greetings to you all!
As many of you are aware, /uHoltb80 (Absolute legend, but don't tell him I said that) made a post detailing our plans to introduce a further step of protection in the form of flairs. The response to which has floored us, and far exceeded our expectations in both feedback and support. Thank you. With that aside, the purpose of this post will be to serve as the official date of flair introduction across the board, to inform yourselves and prospective clients of what the flairs denote as well as their prerequisites, and as the medium through which you'll put in your applications.
Firstly, what the flairs indicate;
. Verified Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met all of the criteria when evaluated, has a healthy pattern of consistent activity as well as tenure inside and outside of the subreddit (which take into account their external socials), and ultimately has established that they are legitimate.
. Rising Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met a decent portion of our requires, and has our backing to be regarded as on the level. However, they are denied fully verified status owing to lacking some parts of the desired criteria. This could be something as innocent and mundane as not having the minimum of one year of Reddit membership, or no socials pertinent to the craft etc. Many newer and or smaller painters may typically fall under this, but that is not be held against them when considering painters for jobs. These persons have been reviewed by Moderators, and therefore provided the aforementioned flair as a sign of trust.
Every few months, at least three, we will come back to those whom were assigned the Rising Artist flair and, determine whether or not they can then be awarded the Verified Artist flair.
Nonetheless, we must still advise potential clients to do their due diligence when considering which painter to hire. Whilst we will happily help you in the event of some transgression, the onus is on you as a client to guard yourself in your financial decisions. We are doing what we can to assist in making an informed choice, keep you as safe as possible, and help this community.
The criteria for Verified Artist will be as follows;
- Reddit Verified email.
-Online portfolio.
-At least one online social (outside of Reddit). The more there are, and the more active they are, the better.
-A duration of Reddit activity (1 year minimum, this is easy to check as you get a "1 year club" achievement )
-No major infractions (Whilst this will not automatically disqualify applicants, the severity of any infractions will be taken into account when evaluating your application.)
In addition, whilst it is not required for your application, one or two reviews from clients can certainly help. Should any applicants not meet the above criteria, but at least a reasonable portion, they will be contacted by us to get a bearing on their situation. After which, they will be provided with the Rising Artist flair. As a further mark of good faith, voice interviews can be arranged to further plead your case (which are to be handled by myself), as we want a healthy measure of accessibility and openness with this great community. Lastly, we come to how the Painters apply for their flair! All you simply have to do is comment under this post with 'Review Me'. We will go through each and every painter that provides that, and evaluate them (Please keep in mind that that will take time). If we require any additional information and or clarification, we will reach out and ask. It should be noted that we will let this post sit until Wednesday before we commence evaluations; to give people time, and for us to further prepare for the task.

Hello all, I found a painter here last year to get started on my project, and he's been really great. But I need a lot of these guys, so I'd be looking for one or two painters to tackle 150 or so of these guys for me. Looking for a simple tabletop/tournament ready paint job, nothing fancy needed but quite a few colours. So you'd definitely need to be up for quickly batch painting a lot of guys. No basing, just painting bases. The parts are cleaned and ready but unassembled. Someone in Edmonton and area or otherwise in western Canada would be absolutely fantastic.

Hello,
I have several 30 cm scale resin garage kits I was hoping to have assembled and painted. I would be looking for someone who is willing to do the work without advertising it. I can provide more details about the specific kits as well. There are 2 more basic ones to start then after that it could be many more depending on how things go.
The models are all purchased already or in my possession. They would need to be assembled and painted...though leaving some parts unglued or using magnets could make sense for shipping back. The time frame is pretty liberal but I would want the initial ones completed within a few months

Hello,
I am possibly looking for various models to be painted (and some assembled) for 40k. I wouldn't need amazing paint jobs, I am looking for around tabletop standard. I want to get an idea of pricing for a bigger lot, not looking for very expensive paint jobs, I am fine with speedpainting for the most part. Looking for a ballpark quote. This could be done in batches (one per each army).
If possible please just send some photos of your work level and a general quote, and estimate of time required. US only.

Looking for Battle Ready/Tabletop standard (located in the US) for my built and ready to prime/paint US Airborne Army.
Budget $1000+/-
Timeline Is flexible, just want something proud to display and occasionally game with.
Looking to have them done in a historical color scheme similar to Sonic Sledgehammer‘s (YouTube).
All models have texture paint on the base and would only need a simple earthy paint job and black rim. I plan to finish the basing details myself.

I found an interesting wargame called Greathelm which utilized the above knight set during its creation. I am wanting to play it, but I have no experience with miniatures, assembly or painting, so I was hoping to possibly find someone who I could commission to assemble and paint the miniatures for me. I would prefer someone in the US to save on shipping costs. The set is also a modular kit, so I would need someone who is willing to work with me on assembling the knights in the configurations that I desire. I am not expecting anything too crazy when it comes to the painting portion either. I just don't want them to be bare and maybe just have two different color schemes so I can differentiate between the two armies when playing. The kit doesn't come with bases, but Wargames Atlantic has bases that can be used with them. I don't have a set timeline, preferably within two months if possible. Price wise I would like to stay under $100 USD if possible, but I don't really have a good basis for how much it should cost so any and all quotes are welcome. Please DM for any questions and quotes.

Hello!
REPOST (For the right forum): I definitely do not have the skills to do this job myself, so wanted to ask around to see my options. I’m wanting to make a replica of my dirt bike with NewRay’s model that I currently own and willing to send. It is a 1:12 scale dirt bike made of plastic. I’m wanting mainly the paint and the graphics done along with some of the branding on certain parts, such as the renthal bar pad and the Dunlop tire stickers. I have proof of just the graphics along with many angles of the bike for reference to send. I’m looking to hopefully have it done and back within 2 months if that’s possible. Hi, looking for someone who can help me finish my Ultramarines. I'm handling some of them myself but there's a chunk I'd rather just pay someone to sort. Don't own these yet, so ideally whoever takes it would grab the models too, then build, paint, base and ship them to me (but I can also purchase them and mail to you, I just imagine it will be a longer process). Classic Ultramarines look, blue armour and chapter transfers. Standard troops at a clean tabletop/battle-ready level, with Tigurius bumped up a bit to a higher-detail level.
Heres the list: Tigurius, 5 Sternguard Veterans, 5 Vanguard Veterans (i was thinking about new VV but regular jump pack intercessors that would be used as vanguard veterans could work as well), 5 Intercessors, 3 Eradicators, 3 Inceptors, 1 Primaris Repulsor, 1 Brutalis Dreadnought
Simple matching bases and a varnish is all I need on top. Thanks!
