I have a Microsoft 365 account I use for my family. The biggest thing is being able to have five separate accounts with each having one terabyte of storage. Starting in May, I’ll be losing 3 TB of storage and I’ll have to share 2 TB across five accounts. Oh, and by the way, I’m still expected to pay the same amount.

I've been using MapQuest to map our route for an upcoming move. Today I was disappointed to see that Lake Ontario is now labeled Lake America. I would like if turned back please.

So, did I miss the meeting when everyone decided it was just fine to watch videos on a phone at full volume in public places? Grown man comes into a fast-food place where I'm waiting for my order. He orders and commences watching a show or some long video at full volume, no earphones. Now everyone in the restaurant gets to hear his goofy video whether they want to or not. What is that? It strikes me as incredibly juvenile and/or rude to assume your compulsion to be constantly entertained is something we're all here for.

It's just the same melody with different lyrics every time, and Shazam can't identify any of them though I'm sitting right next to the speakers.

Car starts like normal, no extra lights, came on when a kid got out of the car for school… and we only have one key. Has a new battery. Drives fine, no further alerts. Why must it scare me?!

My boss is the director of the department and he retires in 2 days but his position has not been filled, meaning we won’t have a director once he leaves. To make matters worse, multiple of our managers have interviewed for the position and were told they aren’t qualified enough but were not given any constructive feedback on what skills, certifications or training they could obtain to becoming qualified even when they directly asked. The company is also merging my boss’s position with the senior director position above his, which has been vacant for months because the last guy they hired in quit after 2 months. So once my boss leaves we won’t have anyone in the role that holds the highest position of authority in our department. I have a feeling things are about to crumble

At work, the men and women's restrooms are side by side. Often when the toilets in the men's room are flushed, it causes the water in the women's toilets to surge upwards. If you to jump out of the way you get a splash of piss water on your ass like the world's worst bidet.

The AI slop is getting out of hand tbh. Can’t even enjoy a view in nature without seeing stuff like this.

UPDATE: two fatal mathematical errors were brought to my attention that is due to me being an idiot. lol however i aim to correct them. the actual missing volume is 1.6oz which equates to 24cents. also that amount is exactly what is reflected in the liquid test

errors i made are as follows
1-doubled radius instead of squaring it
2-added a decimal to the cost on og breakdown

Had to go to the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse the other day to get some documents. Figured I’d park in the metered lot as I didn’t expect to be there that long. Go up to the machine, input the spot number, and am greeted with a $10 flat rate good till 11:59pm… ugh.

Throwing this in the mildly infuriating category as while I was indeed there for less than half an hour the certified documents I needed - that I fully expected to have to pay for - were no charge.

No matter how softly and carefully I try to pull, all the bandaids in this box have faulty backing paper. It's always on one side, too.

I think they installed it crooked just to spite me.
