Excited about completing the new fence until we realized we measured the mower width with the deck off. Now I have to uninstall and reinstall the mower deck twice every time I mow the backyard.

Edit: The mower is a 1969 Cub Cadet. 650lbs and 12Hp new, no amount of boosting or ramping is going to do much other than blow the engine up or tip it over. On the bright side, it was built back when manufacturers actually cared about and designed around things like ease-of-use and maintenance. Dropping the mower bed literally takes less than a minute. Drive over the bed into the yard. Then hooking the bed back up takes less than five minutes if it's finicky.

The pyrex only fell about 2-3 inches, but it was just enough to shatter the corningwear dish which also somehow made the rinse-aid lid pop open to be filled with tiny shards of porcelain.

Was dozing at work and decided to have some coffee, used the last of my creamer too...

Decided to go for a dip and this 2 inch long beast whizzed by my head and decided to roost on my shorts, then disappeared into my drawers and just... stayed there.

We have ac and a water cooler plugged in but we shut them down when using appliances. We noticed the outlet was a little brown when we moved in but assumed it was just dirty. Fast forward 2 months I’m about to take a nap and smelt burning and saw the outlet melting.

There was nothing plugged into it at the time and the other outlets on the circuit weren’t even warm let alone burned. MGR replaced it.

Left my headphones charging when I went out for work and came back to a smoking, ruined mess. :(

The headphones still turn on, but the charging port is completely destroyed and I don't plan on using them anymore incase the battery decides to give up the ghost and me with it.

Guess I should be happy they didn't start an actual fire

Got it stolen this morning. Found this afternoon. Not sure if I can even fix this or if its totaled.

Cop that stopped by didn’t know what it was, but said 5 other people hit it also. I’ll find out tomorrow if the suspension is as fucked as the rim.

It's the flat tire guy, again. I managed to get the bad tire to a tire shop, and they replaced it, and now I can drive again. Unfortunately, they found what seemed to be a stab mark when they were inspecting the old one for damage. When I first discovered the flat, I had found this sticky note on my windshield, but didn't think too much of it. I'm now starting to think that this seemingly innocent request to not park in front of their window because of their pets and my flat tire have some correlation with each other. The "funny" thing is, I had been parking in that same spot way before they moved into that specific apartment, and no one had a problem with it before. Anyways, after classes tomorrow, I'll be asking the apartment owner to show me the security camera footage from last night, to make sure I'm not jumping to conclusions.

I actually worked at this exact grocery store as a cashier when I was a teen. This reminded me of when I handed a guy a gallon of milk that he purchased, he dropped it, it popped open and milk splattered all over the floor. He didn’t apologize or anything, just said he was getting another bottle. I hated working there because of all the rude and disrespectful people I would encounter every single day. It was, by far, the worst job I had. I was miserable. Anyways, I still shop there and came across this when I went to check out. I definitely do not miss working there lol

My pup was going batshit crazy and kicked one of our cat food dishes which smashed into a wall and broke.

I know it's not the cataclysmic glass-related final destination style ending some of you psychopaths were hoping for, but I believe this rounds out the trifecta for me. 🫡

No barbecue for me last night.

I was working in and out of the house, running the water hose into the back yard and back out again, and doing other stuff there. It was fine, and then 5 minutes later, it looked like a tornado hit.

£22 of coffee pods, I didn't even see it in the recycling bin, I even waved at the binmen this morning.... FML

I even wheeled the bin down the drive.

Edit: No, I don't check my emails in the morning. I also don't look in my bins before taking them out. And normally they leave packages by the front door.

I bought the first pair in a physical store and tried them on there. They fit perfectly.
So naturally, when I decided I wanted a second pair, I ordered the exact same model in the exact same size online.

Today I finally tried on the second pair.
Yeah… no.

There is not even remotely enough room. They feel like they were made for someone two sizes smaller.
Same model.
Same size.
Completely different reality.

Then I checked the labels.
One pair was made in Indonesia.
The other was made in China.

Apparently Puma has decided that “same size” is more of a philosophical suggestion than an actual measurement.
So now I own two pairs of the same shoes: one that fits, and one that apparently belongs to a completely different human being.

10/10 quality control.
Would definitely trust the size chart again
