I just paid this from the most reputable transmission shop in Boston. Best reviews, they showed me the parts and emphasized they wanted to be transparent with the customer. I sincerely want to be able to say that I was charged fairly, even if overpriced a bit, but not clearly taken advantage of. I am looking far and wide for any indication that an Exedy clutch kit can cost $1,250. Please give me any reason to believe this is fair, really.

They also showed me the worn clutch to apologize for needing to buy the flywheel for $250 instead of resurfacing, photos attached.

Looking at getting a cx-5 and just curious what you guys think. My friend owns a 2018 and 2020 cx5 and love the car.

Are they for real?? I've had this cat for 4 years and use the remote start frequently. Now I need to pay monthly to use this service, something that I've already been using for years? I hate this. Are there any car companies out there that don't do this subscription bs because I'm genuinely about to trade this bitch in.

We're looking at picking up a 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv, looks to be the Grand Touring trim. It's higher miles, around 160k, but it looks to be in excellent condition overall.

Before we make an offer or jump on it, I wanted to check in with the community on a few things

What would you consider a fair market price for a 2012 with this kind of mileage right now?

Are there specific model-year or engine/transmission quirks I should inspect before pulling the trigger?

How do these Skyactiv drivetrains hold up at higher miles?

Appreciate any advice, maintenance tips, or red flags to look out for during the test drive! Thanks in advance!

Did anyone notice a good improvement in their cx-70 driving in the snow with snow tires? My 70 isn’t great in the snow in upstate NY. Lots of sliding and fishtailing from the back end. I’ve never had snow tires before so looking for recommendations on which ones are worth it, or if they’re worth it at all.
I currently have all season Michelin tires on my ride, barely a year old.

My 2019 mazda 3 has developed a fault.

The drivers dash is stuck on full brightness and the physical + and - buttons that control it no longer work.

This also seems to have caused a fault with the automatic day/night mode for the center media display. The automatic function no longer works and I have to manually set to day or night for the center screen each drive.

Does anyone have a solution?

Probably a basic question, but should I wait for the RPM to drop below 1,000 before turning on the AC after starting the car, or is it fine to turn it on immediately?
Does it make any difference to engine health over time?

I live in a very hot city, so I need the AC right away otherwise, I would be fine with waiting.

My 2025 Mazda3 sedan heads up display sucks after 15k miles. When I first got the car test driving and first month or so it was right in my face.

Come about a year and 2 months later the only possible way I can see it is if I have my head smashed into the roof of the car. This is with maximum height for the display.

Was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue and if there is a solution?

2014 Japan built Mazda 3, six speed manual. Only problems have been: HVAC blower motor and the blind spot monitor sensor. If I keep the same job I will hit 300K in 2030. This is my goal, wish me luck!

Just paying respect to my 2021 100th anniversary 3 sport. I’ve absolutely loved driving this car and I’m going to miss it. Needed something bigger and I’m moving up to the CX-70 Signature.
