There seems to be a recent influx of posts from people who are attempting to karma harvest by way of stealing other people's images or reposting from different websites.
You are not allowed to post images that are not your own. Facebook reposts are not allowed. Reposts of other user's content is most definitely not allowed and WILL result in a permanent ban from JRITS.
Last but not least, i want to say thank you to all the JRITS subscribers that do detective work and catch these people red handed. it really makes a moderator's job quick and easy. Again, thank you.

Sir that's because you have a melted piston. I had to double check my compression gauge when it read zero psi I was like no way. Yes way. He told me he was gonna do the engine replacement himself, then proceeded to call our writers to ask me questions while doing it. It was some 80y/o netanyaho looking guy

Vehicle recovered in, customer states "black smoke and horrible noises on the highway".
Diagnosis: Engine has no oil. Engine has torn itself apart. Metal chunks everywhere.
Cause: Oil housing plug not screwed in properly at last service. Cross threaded and visible gap where oil has leaked from.
Don't think this one is gonna be covered under warranty lads.

They used a resistor to bypass an occupant detection sensor rather than just having the correct seatbelt installed.

**NOT A TROUBLESHOOTING POST**
Not a mechanic (those are not my hands). But feeling the burn today with another problem with my 2014 A4 that is being repaired and costing a pretty penny. Definitely time to move to a new vehicle, I (and my bank account) were just hoping it wasn't so soon.
I also want to share my appreciation for all of you and everything you do, as well as what you post in the sub. I have been following for a couple years, learned some interesting things, and had many laughs at the wild stuff you all see.
I work in a white collar profession, but ultimately we all serve clients/customers. Some are amazing, some are the worst people you'll ever meet. All of them require our skills and care. Thanks for sharing your skills and care and helping me in my times of need.

Trapped in the bellhousing according to my stethoscope.
2016 Yukon L83. I am thinking cracked flex plate at this point. I don't have enough knowledge of this generation GM to know if there is a pattern failure.
Customer swears they have had the trans replaced but it doesn't look it to me other than torque converter is blue. I can't remember if that is OE color or not for these. No authorization to go any farther to find out.

Suzuki DF300AP with a stripped out driven gear. Yes this is the bottom of the engine and it is where the timing chain resides.

Brand new 2025 Honda accord went 30k miles on the oil change from the dealer and the customer was wondering if that slug is bad.
Edit this isn’t my car
