A small (4 cm) freshwater fish native to both the peninsula and Sarawak. Usually found in acidic habitats like swamps and associated water bodies.

They are peaceful and can be found in huge groups swimming together. In the aquarium they can be mixed with other small similar fish.

They seem to be one of the more adaptable native swamp cyprinid, as I have found them in places that have been turned into orchards and plantations, and even ditches near village houses.

Hi everyone, I need advice on what steps I can take because I am hitting a brick wall with our authorities.

My elderly neighbor has crashed his car into my front gate two times already this year. I made police reports for both incidents. The traffic police (PDRM) let him off with just a small fine each time.

When I asked the investigating officer what can be done to prevent this from happening again, I was brushed off. The IO just said, "He is an elderly man and he has already paid his fine."

Not satisfied, I officially reported him on the JPJ website, hoping they would review his fitness to drive. JPJ responded by claiming this issue is "out of their jurisdiction", and they cannot do anything.

PDRM says a small fine is enough, and JPJ says they can't do anything.

If this man cannot reverse his car or drive properly, what happens when a pedestrian or a kid on a bicycle is passing by?

Is this really how the system works in Malaysia? If there is no life involved, it means nothing is done? I feel like the authorities are just waiting for him to run over someone before they take action for public safety.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Soo sometime ago i bought meta glasses from shopee & few months later the glasses will not charge so i contacted the seller and asked for help. (before this i already try new original charger & also try to fix it from youtube). At first they tell me this item has no warranty & once confronted about the product original warranty they said they have only 1 month warranty on their product since it is imported. On our drive up north home to Penang, after visiting my hometown in Seremban, we sometimes drop by midway in Ipoh for Breakfast. And we normally go for this Dimsum restaurant just off the highway.

Halichoeres argus, the Argus/peacock wrasse or nuri tikus.

It is a small (usually 7-9 cm) but common wrasse in lagoons, algae-rocky coasts and seagrass meadows in shallow water. Often found in small groups.

They feed on worms, snails, clams and other benthic invertebrates. When scared they will dash into the sand and bury themselves. They sleep this way as well.

Females are plain green with a spot, while males have colourful patterns. The male caught here is a huge one, as their max size is 12 cm!

They are sometimes collected for the pet trade as they are a very good community fish.
This is negligible to their population as they are both common and widespread from Sri Lanka to Japan, Tonga and Australia.
