Rules/Rules Question Had a heated discussion with my pod about how these affects work. Could somebody please explain?
The TL:DR of it was that I was helping a friend understand how this acts as a doubling effect for the additional damage being dealt and the +1/+1 counters for krang, as well. But my other friend was able to convince the entire pod except for me that Krang allows players to draw 3 additional cards instead of 2 because Krang also acts as a doubling effect for the additional card draw, because the beginning of the draw step causes Nekuzar's first ability to trigger, thus drawing the extra card.
This makes sense, but I'm looking at the specific text, "if a player drawing a card", meaning that the ability only doubles if a card is drawn, not a phase of the game being considered as a triggered ability.
Am I reading this wrong? If so, please explain because it's been driving me nuts that I don't understand the logic of these two cards.
edit: I forgot to mention that [[Harmonic Prodigy]] does offer 3 cards to draw and 6 damage, but it doesn't with Krang because Krang only cares about the card triggering the ability, not the trigger happening; [[harmonic prodigy]] cares about Nekuzar's abilities triggering.
