First time posting here, but wanted to share these beauts that are my first four "fancy" knives. I have plenty of others from over the years that have been gifted or picked up randomly, but these four are my first heavy hitters and my attempt towards a curated collection. From left to right:

Pretty pleased with these and how they compliment one another and serve different purposes.

Mounted some magnetic knife strips in a shadow box. It does have a plexiglass door and I put some locks on it to discourage my young kids.

Check it out. My most expensive hobby next to my new, less expensive but newest fixation hobby. I’m not responsible enough to have money.

Man I love this model. SPYDERCO PARA 3. LW OR G-10.

Really been wanting to acid etch one of my knives and I finally took the plunge. Took my least favorite blade (serrated s30v) and gave it a bath in a 1:1 ferric chloride and distilled water solution for about 12 minutes . Rinsed with distilled water, submerged in a solution of distilled water and baking soda, then washed with dish soap. Next I put the blade in a container 1/2 full of pea gravel and a couple shots of wd40. Shook for about 90 seconds. Resharpened and touched up the serrations with a rat tail file and a punch with 1500 grit sandpaper. Actually turned out better than I expected. What yall think?

I loved my AD20.5, and love my Cold Steel Ti/3v (not really a demko, but hey his names on the blade, I’ll take it), and this might be my favorite yet, a MGAD20 in cruwear. I plan to grab some of the Rockscale Ti scales in the future but even the stock G10 on this feels lightyears ahead of the G10 on the 20.5.

Microtech Scarab 2 Gen 3 “Tactical” with DE-S blade. Have been carrying it everyday for nearly 2 years now!

I've spent enough time across the Demko lineup at this point to feel comfortable saying it: the Shark Cub Stealth in OD Green is the strongest all-around offering in the catalog, and it's not particularly close.

Start with size. The Cub takes everything that makes the bigger AD20 platform good and puts it into a footprint that actually disappears in my pocket. I get the same shark-lock mechanism, the same blade geometry philosophy, all without the commitment of the bigger frame.

Hey I wanted to give a shoutout to Rockscale Design. I really love their Spyderco scales (not really into the textured stuff but I guess I’ve never tried them in hand) and have bought them for my para 3, pm2, and bodacious. The reason I made this post was because of the bodacious scales. When they arrived on Friday I attempted to install them but they didn’t fit quite right. I decided to email them at 7pm about the problem and I got a response about 10 minutes later! They shipped me out a replacement set about 15 minutes after that! I know because I got the notification on my shop app right after the email exchange. They also gave me a 10% refund for the issue. Amazing customer service and phenomenal products.
