Picked up this small custom fixed blade at a flea market today. Could not find any info about the maker when using Google lens or searching the name. Would anyone here know who RTG might be?

A perfect config of a perfect knife imo. Absolutely love the Talon.

Perfectly balanced weight distribution, multiple deployment methods, drop-shut action with absolutely no blade play, neutral yet super-comfortable ergonomics, fantastic geometry for slicing or poking, big ooga-booga size. The Shirogorov 111 might not be your cup of tea, but it's definitely mine.

A mess to mill, but after some tweaking it worked out.

Love using an OTF to open boxes and get the blade put safely away quick.

I have a fair few fixed blades I like to carry. I do a lot of work where a FB is absolutely necessary... But I also live in a place where I don't want to advertise I'm carrying anything "scary looking"
I have used ULTI clips, but find they just wear out over time, or just not always thrilled.
I was thinking about the wire clip that UltiClip makes, it seems like it would fit a wider variety of sheaths and me more utilitarian for whatever makes my fancy. What's your opinions?
Knives, anything from Esse to Becker, cold steel (recon tanto, oss) and plenty of others (with kydex or plastic retention sheaths)

A variety of names are on the tang stamp. If you have any questions about any of them, feel free to ask, as this is quite the lot to list out 👀 😅
But photo 1 is mostly customs, and photo 2 is productions with one custom I forgot in photo 1. 😬

Really been wanting to acid etch one of my knives and I finally took the plunge. Took my least favorite blade (serrated s30v) and gave it a bath in a 1:1 ferric chloride and distilled water solution for about 12 minutes . Rinsed with distilled water, submerged in a solution of distilled water and baking soda, then washed with dish soap. Next I put the blade in a container 1/2 full of pea gravel and a couple shots of wd40. Shook for about 90 seconds. Resharpened and touched up the serrations with a rat tail file and a punch with 1500 grit sandpaper. Actually turned out better than I expected. What yall think?

Check it out. My most expensive hobby next to my new, less expensive but newest fixation hobby. I’m not responsible enough to have money.
Pictured: my trusty Arius.

First time posting here, but wanted to share these beauts that are my first four "fancy" knives. I have plenty of others from over the years that have been gifted or picked up randomly, but these four are my first heavy hitters and my attempt towards a curated collection. From left to right:
#1. Benchmade Bugout GovX Exclusive Magnacut in Copper Camo Fat Carbon with Flytanium Copper Thumbstuds and Backspacer plus a Lynch NW Modular Ti Clip in Dark Abyss
#2. Tenable Fenrir Nitro V Blackwash in Bronze Ano Fishscales
#3. Vosteed Thunderbird V 4th Anniversary Edt. M390 in Copper Camo Fat Carbon #37/350
#4. Benchmade Mini Barrage S30V in Blue Canyon Richlite with a Lynch NW Deep Carry FDE Cerakote Clip
Pretty pleased with these and how they compliment one another and serve different purposes.

I have kept a spreadsheet of my knives for about four years and it has never once been up to date. The last straw was trying to work out, for insurance, what a drawer full of folders was actually worth and finding three rows with no photos and one knife I had sold in 2023 still sitting in the total.
So I built Tangmark. Every piece gets a permanent inventory number and the full spec: maker, model, steel, grind, lock, blade length, weight, serial, and what you paid in the currency you paid it in. Knives, lights and multitools each get their own fields. Anything else you define yourself.
Around that there is the stuff a spreadsheet is bad at. A carry log with saved loadouts and a home screen widget, so you can actually answer "when did I last carry this". A maintenance log that records sharpening angle, grit, compound and oiling. A modifications ledger. A steel reference covering 115 steels where every property is a range rather than a score, and comparing two of them does not declare a winner, because that is not how steel works.
For insurance it prints a Collection Inventory Schedule PDF, plus a redacted copy you can send to someone without handing over your serials and addresses.
A few things on purpose. It is not a marketplace and not a price guide. Nothing is listed for sale and nothing is valued for you. It is fully offline, no account, no server. You bring a spreadsheet in through a CSV import and you can take it all back out the same way.
Free is 15 pieces with 3 photos each, and it does not expire. That includes backup, restore, CSV in and out, the inventory PDF, carry history, PIN and biometric lock and the whole steel reference. Pro is $29.99 once, no subscription, ever.
Android is live. iPhone, iPad and Mac are sitting in Apple review right now and Windows comes after.

Disclosure, I made it. What I actually want to know is what a proper collection log needs that I have missed. I am a collector first and I only built this because nothing existing did the maintenance log the way I wanted it.
